Good seller, notebook not so much
Main problem is noise. I have G15 of previous series and it's much quieter. This one got to 80% of fan anytime.Performance side it's a great piece. (Upgraded it to 64gb ram and 4tb ssd's)Really easy access for upgrading.Screen quality is great. Even if initially I doubted that purring with such a high resolution on 15 screen can be difficult.Battery life - where it's somewhat existent .But don't expect it to be fully mobile. In that's sence it's more akin to old laptop, than to modern long live notebooks.

Do not buy it unless you can stand crashes all the time
This laptop I bought only has 512 GB of storage, so I added another SSD to the second slot. However, if the second slot is in use, this laptop will crash very frequently and randomly, which is most possibly due to a flaw in the motherboard design or something else.First of all, I am pretty sure that crashes are only because of the design of the laptop rather than my second SSD. If you google this, you will find a lot of people facing the same issue. The crashes happen and the second SSD usage is 100%. If you exchange two SSDs, the second slot will still be randomly in 100% and make the system crash. From what I know, the only way is to use only the first slot, and then there is no expansion. Dell should definitely know this because I find that there are a lot of people requesting support due to this issue, but they do nothing. No update or replacement for the motherboard (if you only replace the motherboard, I think crashes will still happen), nor update on BIOS.In summary, only buy it if you think it is worth around 2000$ with only one SSD slot and ineffective customer service, or you can withstand random crashes.Besides this, everything is fine. Not so good and not so bad regardless of the price. It has been months since this laptop was released, and there is no fix to this issue. If Dell fixes this someday in the future, it is a mediocre laptop and you can consider buying it on sale.

Such a Shame – Alienware was the company to beat and this could have been an amazing machine
The good: Great looking, powerful components, solid construction, bright QHD screenThe bad: Reliability, customer service, runs very hot, Alienware Command CenterIt’s such a shame – These machines could be top-of-the-line if there was only better quality control and customer service. I am on my third computer from Dell since my original purchase. The first computer actually failed a stress test by Dell’s OWN SOFTWARE out of the box. They sent me another (I had to fight to get an actually new machine as opposed to a refurb), and that one crashed intermittently – every few months to every couple of hours – for months while Dell struggled to figure out what the issue was. When they finally agreed to fix it, they sent a technician out with a refurb motherboard. The board reported a failure upon POST. The technician (not a Dell employee, but a contractor) went to bat for me and got them to offer me a replacement machine, but I had to threaten Dell with a nasty open letter to get them to agree to give me a new machine. The customer service is really abysmal, as, it seems, their quality control process. If you can get the model to run, it does run hot. Plan to get a laptop cooler. And don’t expect a ton out of the RGB keyboard/external lights and fan control, etc. Alienware Command Center is really pretty basic even though it’s dressed up like something impressive. I’ve been much more impressed by MSI’s Dragon Center and Corsair’s iCue, which can give you real, granular control at your fingertips. There’s so much to love about the r7. It looks cool – like an alien starship interface or ship’s drive section with the wing protruding from the back. The RGB on both the interior and exterior of the computer add to that perception. It comes with the right hardware – a 3070ti and i7-12700H make for smooth framerates on the integrated 1440p display despite the fact that it runs pretty hot. That bright 1440 display is one of my favorite features. It makes games look great (the vast majority of recent titles do support 1440, I’ve found) and grants a ton of desktop space when you’re in productivity mode. It’s clear that the build quality is just top-notch; Dell has used aluminum for the entire exterior shell, which adds to a high-class look and feel and reassures the user that it’s not as fragile as some laptops have become. The hinges have no play and are nice and snug but not overly tight.Bottom line, I hope that I had a one-off bad experience with Alienware because there’s so much to love about the brand, both historically and presently. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the case since they tried to push a refurb machine on me twice when they’d sent me a lemon in the first place. I bought and paid for a brand new computer and it wasn’t too much to expect that they deliver that inside of the warranty period. If you do go with Alienware, I hope you have the experience I expected to. I hope the machine runs as good as it looks on paper! If you don’t go with Alienware and you happen to find a great laptop brand, let me know. I’m in the market for a new one.

Works great most of the time.
RAM issues, have tried two different kits that should have been compatible but it refuses to boot with them. Other than that works fine with factory RAM 90% of the time and is great for a variety of uses.

Great powerful laptop
It is a powerful and great laptop for playing games. The fan is loud when playing games, but the temperature is acceptable.
