I only made two pairs of these earrings using these limited edition stones, so once these two pairs are gone, they're gone. Two round 5mm hematite stones shimmer in sterling silver prong settings. The stones are cut in a faceted cut that looks like a modified rose cut - with facets rounding up to a flat table. This gives the earrings a more low profile look, as the stones do not stick out as much from the settings. Hematite has a unique steely-black color and is mined as the mined as the main ore of iron. Hematite is said to have a stabilizing effect, grounding the wearer to the earth, and is said to offer the wearer protection and decrease negativity. These earrings are small.
