Review: Exceptional flexibility ("arctic cable"). - Have used this for making up power cables for astrophotography rig. Flexibility when cold is important (especially in the Scottish Highlands), and for this use this cable excels, minimal drag even on telescope mount umbilical under constant flexure. Wish I'd known about this cable before, and will be buying again. The two conductors separate really easy, and it's worth putting a short section of heat shrink tubing just above any separation point if your cable is under tension or flexure to prevent any further inadvertent separation. A definite five-stars for this cable.
Review: It's wire... - No problems

## Questions & Answers

**Q: "total 200ft,black and red each color 100ft" this really means the reel is only 100 feet long. deceptive listing yes?**
A: OP is right, electrical wire is calculated as total length of all conductors together, this is misleading advertising. It specifically says, “2 conductor… 200 feet” then goes off to explain 100 feet each. If you buy 10 feet of electrical extension cable with 3 conductors, they can’t advertise it as 30 feet and in brackets put (10 feet white, 10 feet black, 10 feet green). This is shady marketing.

**Q: Can I use this to rewire chandelier sockets? I bought 18-2 and it's too thick to snake through the chandelier arms.**
A: normally 18 gauge is the minimum size for fixture wiring. the silicone wire would be more difficult to pull because it is sticky. look for 18-2 wire with a thinner insulation pvc?

**Q: Can I use this to wire a wall control panel for a garage door opener? Original wire 22 awg. About 35' of under ground conduit from detached garage.**
A: Should not be a problem. It is a heavier gauge wire.

**Q: for those who say this is poor wire, did you find a superior replacement?**
A: I had no issues with this wire.
