I have been making my own tomato sauce for 60 years. Olive oil, garlic, basil, tomatoes, maybe some tomato paste, simmer it, and that's it. I never thought that I would buy a marinara sauce in a jar, but I got lazy and bought Cucina Antica. The simple truth is that it is absolutely great. Delicious. Perfect over pasta, and for anything else where you use a red tomato sauce. It has a very different taste than my own sauce, but so what? I really love it. If you don't believe me, get a jar and see for yourself.

So many good things to say. I love so many things about this product I found it after reading a huge article or they relate where they rated pasta sauce is based on health benefits and taste. Can you come up number one against another one but I have to list what I like I like that this thing takes very homemade I like it that the ingredients are very natural and I love the packaging as I’m into graphics in graphic design so I really appreciate that they used a hand written print out of the ingredients makes me feel like somebody’s mom actually just wrote it on the side of a jar but I think it taste really good it’s hard to make garlic Garlic still taste fresh after it is been squeezed. Garlic usually only takes good just when it comes from the squeezer and then after you cook something even after it stays the next day it loses its flavor. However they still taste very garlicky and I like that thank you for making this product

We always used Alessi and still love it, but switched to this brand when we couldn't get Alessi. It has less sodium, and tastes very authentic. If you're a foodie you'll like it better than 99% of the sauces in the market because it tastes so fresh and pure. Also, I won't buy sauce that has oil in it other than olive oil.

Only one issue: I got 2 Tomato Basil and 1 Arrabiata. I didn’t realize it until after I added it to the meatballs. It took 3 more jars of regular sauce to make it palatable for my non spicy eaters. It still left a little zing after a few mouthfuls. But great flavor on both flavors.

I have used this brand for years and thoroughly enjoy the flavor and consistency of the sauce. I use it for my meatballs and even my stew. The taste is wonderful and no other jarred sauce compares. Highly recommend you try it

Honestly, I thought I would purchase some Italian sauce to make our spaghetti nights a little more interesting. Now this was full if tomato flavor due to the endless tomato chunks. But for our family thus sauce was missing flavor. If you are looking for nice, clean tomato taste as a base for you to begin with this would work.

This sauce is very good. I was looking for a sauce with less sugar and sodium. This sauce was recommended on another site, so I came and found it by the case at Amazon. My wife thought I was crazy getting a case of spaghetti sauce shipped to the house, but she likes it. Update: 12Mar18 - We're on a our second case of this sauce and still really like this sauce. It's a bit pricey, but if you watch on Amazon, they throw a digital coupon up once in a while, which will reduce the price a little bit. Update: 15Dec18 - I’ve bought 3 or 4 cases of this sauce since finding it. I’ve tried a couple of different flavors. This is definitely our go to sauce these days.

Very impressed with this sauce. Tastes very fresh and homemade. LOVE the list of ingredients. This is the best pasta sauce I have had in a long time. I also really like the plastic jar so I don't have to worry about it breaking in transit. I'm not sure why anyone would care or think that their product would be affected. Don't we all eat food from plastic everyday, mayo, mustard, salad dressing, evoo, ketchup etc, etc. I think it's just because it is a new product in plastic we haven't seen before, people will get used to it, just like the other products. I appreciate the company cares about the integrity of my product getting to me in one piece and the jar looks like glass. Thanks!
