I really like this porta potty powder. I use it in my elderly mother's commode that we keep in her bedroom. It smells very fresh and works well. I took one star off because I've been using this for several years and just recently, the size of the packets was greatly reduced. I still use it but sometimes it requires two packets.

These were okay. Had to use 2 just to absorb the pee. Definitely will be in a search for an alternative buy just in case my usual degradable gels is sold out. Love that it did come with a traveling pouch

This is an awesome product to have for an emergency bathroom or for portable toilets that use toilet bags; especially for campsite bathrooms! This item converts liquid waste into a manageable gel that has a slight smell of lemon. The lemon smell helps but let's face it, the toilet bag is going to smell like a small version of a septic tank and there's no getting around that. But the item is also compostable, which is incredible in it's own right, and that makes this a guilt free option for a more clean camp toilet. Awesome stuff!

The lady who pumps out our portable toilet a couple of times a year usually does septic tanks, and carries no deodorant on her truck. She suggested I order the powder on Amazon, so I did. After four months it seems to have worked very well.
