Beautiful shamrocks
These bulbs grew very well....they did take a few weeks to sprout, and few weeks more to grow significantly. I kept the soil warm and watered with warm water. I live in Southern California and on cool nights I moved them inside until they were established. I now have a bowl of beautiful shamrocks. They need regular watering, and they are happy on my covered balcony in indirect sunlight. I am very pleased and am thinking about getting some more. Highly recommended.

Cheated in these
Not shipped what was described in ad text. I bout not one but 2 packs of 12 bulbs and oned pack had 7 the o the 8 and some sticks. We planted them as soon as we got them. 3 little shoots came up. Shoukd have had 2 whole pots. In Potting soil, large pots, sun everyday and watered. These are the only thing out of my garden that is crap.we have the best landscaping in the whole area of anyone. We are told daily how nice our oldie looked. So had hope to ads some purple In 2 small pots. I thing the bulbs are old and way out of date to be sold. They did not germinate, plus the qaunity was supposed to be 2 of 12 bulbs in each packs. We received 2 packs one with 7 and one with 8 and were small in size and in bad condition. And some trash sticks only 3 grew. Cheated as been in gr gound a month to see and window to return closed while waiting for them to grow. Or should say poor quilt not grow. Was a total waste of 2 post, soil and the money we spent on.the 2 packs. Looks like many others are reporting the same thing as us. Out rite cheated on this product. Window closed 24th to return but was told give them more time will grow. Amazon should return everyone's money that got this bad batch of less qaunity and quality as products was not delivered as described

First time planter
I bought these initially thinking it was a “live” plant. I guess I didn’t read and just liked the photo. I’m not a gardener and most of my house plants die so I wasn’t sure how to plant these. I did a search and read that if it’s too hot or too cold the seeds would go dormant. These arrived in July when it was over 100 degrees where I live, but I planted about 4 seeds per pot just to see if they would grow. It took them a while to sprout and I think that was due to the extreme heat. Finally, after about a month (maybe when the weather got in the 90’s) they began to sprout. I included a few photos to show how they’re growing and if you look in the pot, there are new sprouts. I’m not sure if that’s from the original bulb or if these are new. I like them and hope they proliferate in the pots to become as nice as the photos in the ad.

Easy to grow and they look beautiful as promised.
I bought these seeds after seeing this plant in a friends kitchen. I figured I would take the chance since the price was great, what did I have to lose but a few dollars. Well, the plants grew beautifully on my windowsill and I have shared the results with a few friends and gave one plant as a gift. I have one inside currently and one outside. I will bring the one outside in when the weather starts to cool after summer, but right now she is loving life! I live in New York, downstate Long Island and she seems to love the weather. I planted it in a little window box type planter but it will need to be replanted soon. Little purple flowers have bloomed and when I tell you it started out as a droopy few stalks, you wouldn't believe it by the photo! Enjoy this beautiful plant.

Mixed review
I love this plant for starters! It’s one of my favorites and it’s a plant that people comment on the most when looking at my plant collection. But… I bought 12 bulbs and only one of them produced. Now, it’s not a HUGE deal because that one bulb still produces and fills the pot so no one would be able to tell. I only know because every plant stem comes from the same location. When I looked into it more, all of the bulbs were gone other than the one. The plant is kept inside and I have no animals that could dig anything up so no idea what happened. Either way, still love the plant but didn’t love the germination rate.

Was it just mud?
Update: It has been 2 weeks since I planted my little clumps of mud, and nothing. There are zero signs of life coming from the pots. I followed planting instructions exactly and have had the pots under my 'seedling' light. This is my first fail. Since I don't have anything else that needs the pots, I'm going to keep trying, I really want purple shamrocks! Certain I received clumps of mud. I decided to carefully dig up the pot today to see if there were roots or anything. Nothing at all, no roots, no corms, no seeds, nothing but dirt. I really want these, so I may try again since others have gotten what they ordered. Fairly certain I received a bag with nothing more than mud in it. There were a couple 'shapes' that may have been bulbs, but did not resemble them at all. I have never planted shamrocks, so I didn't know what to expect. I followed the planting instructions...we shall see. I will be back to update.
