I will say the camera quality of the Google nest is actually really good! You can zoom in and out, you can speak to people through the doorbell, it records motion & also keeps track of your deliveries and packages! The battery life is not bad at all especially for being battery operated! We charge our battery once every 3-4 weeks which is honestly really good! It provides really good night vision and super easy set up! Plus there are no hidden fees, no app fees and no weekly bills! It connects to your cell phone with Bluetooth & WiFi and overall just a great deal. After my mom saw mine, she ordered one for her house! ADT security uses the same cameras and they mark up the prices to install them. Review: All I could ask for. - Cons: The battery life is shorter than I'd prefer but not so short that is not workable. I can leave it up for over a week at a time on a full charge. The "home" app displays the percentage of charge it has and how long that should last it but the time estimate seems to be way higher than accurate. My old Ring would store some video, but this requires a subscription to save video. You can look at the video once and then it's gone. But it's a good quality product that seems to have a longer lasting battery than my old Ring doorbell.
