These numbers are the right size and look great on my house. Tell your installer these are intended to float and suggest that you want to be there when they are installed so they get the spacing to your liking. I saw these on my next door neighbor's house and then wanted them for my house too. My installer did not install them as floating numbers as intended and put them a little close together. Good thing he works cheap - my husband! He likes to install on his own timeline. They still look good without the floating feature.

I purchased this item because it was cheaper than a nearly identical product at a big box store. I am using these on my apartment door and am very pleased with their sleek and stylish look, while still being highly functional and very readable from any distance. The bright contrast against my white door looks great. Installation was simple with the clear instructions. I love that the package doubles as a jig for drilling the necessary holes. The only issue I had is that the threaded rods were too long for me to feel comfortable setting the numbers flush against the door; it seemed that I would have to drill extremely close to the other side of the door. So I had to install them floating instead. Floating is fine and looks good but I wish the package came with shorter rods to make flush installation more of a viable option.

This didn’t quite work for what we bought it for (our front fence) but the return process was so smooth, we ended up trying it out on my kids’ playhouse instead and it’s so cute there! The numbers are a great size for your actual house

These numbers look great. Has a bit of glossy finish to it. Somewhat easy to install. I would recommend using a rubber mallet, and placing a piece of cardboard or cloth on the number to press them firmly into the wall anchors. Make sure to get your hole measurements correct when drilling as it'll be difficult to get them in the anchors and lined up properly. The numbers are slightly smaller, as you can see from the picture between the sizing of the 2 and the 8.
