These Hatchimals are so fun. It is hard to find teenagers cute little gifts for Christmas or birthday. It seems all they want is cash or gift cards or things that are just out of my budget. I bought these on a whim just too give to the teen girls in my family because I thought they were cute. They loved them. The girls are not playing with them like younger children do, but they loved cracking the eggs and opening them up. They also want to build up their collection. They loved organizing them based on their wing color. Even the boys wanted to crack the eggs, although they did not want to keep the little animal inside. These are affordable enough that next Christmas I can get all the teenage girls at least 1 pack if not 2 of these to go along with their gift cards. I will be getting the younger girls a set of these too. To be honest, I liked cracking the eggs too. I might get a pack just for me.

This was such a fun toy to play with. I really enjoyed cracking the eggs. The eggs have the texture of semi-hardened clay. It breaks apart very easily. It can be very messy if you get too obsessed with breaking it into tiny pieces like I did lol. The kids like the tiny toy inside and rubbing the little heart until it turns pink. It was a cool little toy and cracking the eggs felt therapeutic to me.

My 5 year old niece loves tiny toys. I bought her a set of Hatchimals a while ago and she went bonkers so I bought this set for her birthday. There really is nothing special about these. They are in little plastic eggs which crack open to reveal a TINY animal inside. That's it. But kids love them. I worry because they are so tiny that they are a choking hazard if a younger child or even a pet gets at them. Nonetheless, my niece was thrilled and enjoyed "melting" the egg to crack it open and seeing what was inside. The price is decent, I suppose, for what they are but they probably cost about 50 cents to make. I am going with 4 stars. Kids like them. They don't do anything but they're cute collectibles. Please keep them out of the reach of small kids and babies though.

These hatchimals are super cute and fun to hatch. Some of the critters are fuzzy and all of them are cute.

This is such a fun little toy for a kid. My daughter loved being surprised at the little toys inside.

I purchased a set of these for my 2 girls. This is a really neat toy, since the eggs 'hatch', but I wouldn't pay over the 10 bucks for the set. Keep in mind, you are only getting the 4 very small animals that come in each egg. Basically, you are paying for the experience of the egg 'hatching'. This is fine with me, it was worth 10 bucks to see my girls happy, and they love the hatchimals. But $10 would be the most I would pay for this toy. That's 2.50 for each small little animal. lol Overall, we are happy with this purchase.

These are fake!! My daughter loves Hatchimals and when she received these found it difficult to open them compared to shop bought ones. Once opened they were bendy rubber one colour and not the more detailed hard plastic that we have bought previous. Will be complaining to Amazon and trading standards.
