The Kids' Building Workshop: 15 Woodworking Projects for Kids and Parents to Build Together Review: Kids Building Workshop Projects book - My daughter home schools her boys, and this book was a heaven sent item. The boys love doing this, as it teaches them coordination, math in measuring and helps them learn creativity in the process. It also brings the Daddy in the picture to help and spend time with the boys. My daughter just loved the book. Review: Good Project Book - Every summer, three of our grandsons (ages 17, 14 and 11) visit us one week in June, July and August. As you know, the kids want to stay inside and play on their phones. Not gonna happen on this grandpa's watch. I purchased this book to get ideas on potential projects. We found a few projects that are age appropriate. The book is well organized and materials lists is very good and a big help. I would definitely recommend this book and the price is right.

Gift
I bought this for my husband to look for projects to do with our grandsons. He hasn't yet used it but I'm hopeful. It seemed as if the projects were a bit dated but for a young boy I think there are several acceptable ones that will provide joint projects.

Great Amount if Ideas
I bought this as a present for the Dad of the baby shower - just so he wouldn’t be left out too. He loved it! I flipped through it an it had a lot of great step by step photos on how to do wood working projects with your kid. Lots of ideas, beyond the standard tool box, bird house and saw horse too. If you’re into woodworking, it’s a great book to be able to show the kids.

Great for child/adult projects to work on together
The book has some good projects that my son has really enjoyed making. He is 9 and very interested in tools and loves helping my husband around the house with projects. I thought this book would be more projects he could do on his own, however most involved using machines that he can not operate on his own without adult supervision. My husband enjoys doing this with our son, however he really wanted some independent projects.

Looks like a fun book
The book is fine, my child just doesn't seem interested in doing the projects. I do like how the instructions are laid out though.

Good starter book
Bought this as a Christmas present for a young nephew. I read through it before wrapping and sending and it's a great little book for anyone wanting to get into small building projects. To be honest, I actually bought it again to have a copy for myself since it explains how to cut angles, how to use the tools etc. I'm a female who is a little intimidated by power tools, but I'd like to build a planter box based on instructions in the book.
