I wanted to use this to print color images, but the ink couldn't show up clearly against the black. However, I could have learned of this issue by Googling "printing color on black cardstock" in advance, so that's on me. The reason for 4 stars is thus just for the price. The sheets themselves are sturdy and didn't show up creased or bent. Review: The grandaughter used this for making hand puppets...she loved it.

The black is a bold, dark black. It worked well for my project.
