I gave 4 stars because I have used it once since I received it about a week ago. But, so far, so good. I have a real phobia when it comes to these creepy critters. There were two lizards hanging around my back door next to a downspout that goes into a underground drain that were freaking me out being so close to the door.....especially since a small one somehow go inside the house a couple of years go. I sprayed the patio around the door, including the door mat and the downspout. when they weren't around of course. I didn't see them for a couple of days. But, one evening while closing the blind on the door, I saw one hanging on the wall next to the downspout. So I sprayed at it but it just ran behind the downspout....so I sprayed again and it took off. Since then, I have not seen any lizards in this area. I'm also going to spray my front porch and the side door into the garage.

I had such luck with rodent and small animal defense, that I figured I'd try the same people's product for getting rid of lizards. As a mother of an almost three-year-old and being currently pregnant, safety of ingredients was paramount. I also don't want to harm any of the pests or anything else that may come in contact with this product, so this was a great fit. Coming from Connecticut, no one warned me that lizards (especially geckos) were something of a common thing to run into down here in Mississippi. I quickly learned this after moving here, haha! I love lizards, actually, but geckos kinda freak me out, and no variety is really welcome to hole up in our home. After finding geckos all over the house (in the garage scaring the poop out of me mid-workout, behind the pictures...also scaring me when the pictures were knocked off the wall, in light fixtures...scaring me when I look up to dry my hair and see a lizard stuck in there...) I decided we had to fix this. My poor heart wouldn't hold out with all these surprise visitors, haha. I sprayed this product around the garage door, the door leading to the house from the garage, and around all the doors and windows both inside and outside. It's only been a few days, but I can say I haven't seen any of our usual daily visitors. Usually I have to capture and release two or three geckos and put them outside, but there haven't been any since using the spray. I'm not concerned about my daughter touching the application sites (but I don't encourage it! Stinky!), and overall it's a nice thing to just apply when I think of it and forget it. Highly recommend!

Excellent for keeping lizards away. On my 4th bottle!

It does smell nice, but it needs to be sprayed at least twice per week. Not sure anything can keep these annoying creatures away for long. I tried the garlic bombs; the odor was so strong that it made my eyes water. This is a decent choice. I spray the interior and exterior of my home regularly for bugs. Also, keep a hand vac nearby for a catch and release. I don't want to kill them, just to keep them out.

It works, it works, it works. I live in southern Florida where Lizards are by the droves and legions. And I have a severe fear of the beast. I was having a common problem of a few lizards sunbathing on my lanai. Of course I have always kept my lanai free of insects, but yet the little beast enjoyed the warmth of my lanai and I no longer could relax because of their presence. Finally, I found Lizard Defense. It was a miracle. My husband laughed at this purchase -saying it would not work. But I sprayed the perimeter of the lanai one time and NEVER saw a lizard for about 45 days. So I sprayed again. And again, NO MORE LIZARDS for about 45 days. Now my husband is pretty amazed and he has taken on the spraying task of 45 day increments. It Works. The spray is potent and can be difficult to spray without a mask or some sort of covering. My husband does handle it much better than I and I love him for it. :) I will alway keep Lizard Defense on the shelf!
