It was easy to apply - I really couldn't tell a difference in the shine (my hair is already shiny) but it seemed to make my hair thicker which was why I purchased it.

Been using this for years in conjunction with Madison Reed's permanent hair color in Matera Marigold. The combo gives me the perfect natural light copper red of my dreams! I get compliments everywhere I go. I will say it makes my hair way too bright/red for my liking until I've washed it once or twice and be careful because it stains things FAST. I find it fades nicely over the course of a few weeks. I use it roughly every 4 weeks, in between coloring. Red is notoriously hard to keep vibrant, and I find that this really does the job without damaging my hair. I wish it was less expensive but I'll continue to repurchase.

I used the clear between colorings. My hair is brown with heavy blond lights and so I used it basically to brighten those lights. It didn't change color but gave my hair a shine it hasn't had in a long, long time. Feel great too. Love it.

I think this is the best shine gloss on the market. It’s easy to use and NO color deposit at all!
