I use this product to re-bed my softener. There is plenty of gravel to cover your riser tube. It was in a burlap bag very well packed and it was in a box. I would recommend this product for anyone who has to do a re-bed on their softener.

The gravel was reasonably priced and was delivered n a timely manner along with the funnel that facilitated pouring it and the new resin into the cylinder. I washed the gravel before putting it in the softenererinsed cylinder. Other than not having be
