Love the stuff, this was the first time I tried Dashi and I loved it and will be buying more soon

A really flavourful culinary addition.
First and foremost, this is nothing like soy sauce. It’s far less salty-tasting, with a much richer, more subtle flavour. I used this as a general purpose liquid seasoning as well, but it makes a really pleasant hot broth, which can be drunk just as it is. I used it to keep me hydrated during a bout of illness. This is a fine substitute for miso, and economical too - much better value than a Korean brand of liquid seasoning that I bought recently. Recommended.
