The reduction in page size makes the book less readable and harder to use. The older version used to lay flat on your desk as you used it for reference. The reduced page size also affects readability and makes illustrations harder to read.The updated information is minimal to be honest and can be found elsewhere. I'd save money and find a good used earlier version.What information there is is useful to get going in engineering drawing but no more than that.

Glad I came across this book. It is very detailed, conscise and simple-written with lots of illustrative examples.

A good coverage of the concepts and techniques of engineering illustration, but considerably smaller than one would normally expect of a text book.
