Sweet, but not overly so, allowing full pecan flavor to shine through. No aftertaste other than that of toasted pecan. No lingering chemical or off flavors. Not quite as good as my Georgia Grandma's, but then she could pick nuts up from the family pecan orchard right outside the back door, as well as the advantage of generations of practice..

The nuts are fresh & tasty, but the sweet coating is a bit more than I prefer. I like to chop the nuts into salads, and prefer less sweet coating for that purpose.
