SHIMANO SH-RC702 Competition-Level Men's Road Cycling Shoe

Really great to cycle in - i just completed a 40 mile and a 102 mile ride in them and they were super. Great ventilation, keep your feet at a good temperature, fit like a glove with the BOA fastenings. Super power transfer with the rigid carbon base. Also slightly wide fit as advertised, which was what I was looking for, no toes pinching as your feet swell slightly during a long ride. Length wise, despite being exactly the same size as my other Shimano's they are about 1/2 a size larger. Not enough to warrant a change. Overall 5 star,

I tried on about a half-dozen different road shoes before buying. These had the best fit by far. Snug through instep with ample room in toe box. Padding where needed. A little loose in the heel, but not enough to be a problem while peddling. Stiff with just enough flex for long training rides. The Boa cable closure system is excellent, providing secure customized fit w/o pressure points. The quick release exit is super convenient. Paired these with Wahoo/Speedplay Pro cleats and feel comfortably and efficiently connected to drive train. Warning that the above size conversion chart seems off. I wear a 9-9 1/2 shoe but needed a size 42.5 in this shoe (a full size smaller than shown in the chart).

This SH-RC702 Shimano cycling shoe is decent, except that the color is dull black with some minor silver dots on the front. I expected the surface to be smoother and shiny. The reflective stripe on the heel is a great feature! My eggbeater cleats fit well. Unfortunately, the size I ordered was too large. I ordered a size 50 but a size 48 works much better. My bad. There are no size 48 shoes available locally! I reordered it in a better fit and have ridden it a half dozen times. The shoe holds my feet comfortably. Probably not suitable for wide feet. The dual adjustable straps on each shoe work well. I expect the shoe to last for years. EDIT: The top plastic cable broke on one shoe after 10 months use. If it can't be repaired, I'm out of luck. I'm not happy!

I was concerned about the fit. I wear a Men’s 12 average width in US sizes. I like a little extra room in cycling shoes. The EU 47 fits great. Really like the Boa system on these shoes. You can keep them tighter at the ankles to minimize slippage and looser on the lower boas to allow your feet to breathe. Considering buying a second pair while on sale. Good shoes at reasonable prices are hard to find.

This is my first pair of cycling specific shoes. They are great. In terms on look, they are stylish. A little narrow, with now feet issues with it. The BOA dial system is simple and easy to use. The shoes are stuff, like they should be. I would recommend these Shimano cycling shoe.

Purchased two pairs of these shoes, Size 12, one pair dedicated for racing, one pair for regular use, used with red 0 degree float cleats. Shoe fits snuggly and sizing is as expected. Previous Shimano R17 shoes used only for racing lasted about 7 years (~150 races before becoming unbonded). Using shoe trees to keep them expanded after riding. Easy adjustment features.

Comfortable and adjust perfect, the boa clips works very well and its esthetic is beautiful.

I like the shoes. Comfotable, stiff, good looking. The shoe tongue could be a little longer to make them perfect, irritates the ankle but overall I would but them again.

ROC701の41.5を使ってますが冬に厚手のソックスを使うと窮屈なのでワンサイズ大きな42を購入。 自転車に限らずシューズは足の形に合っていることが重要で、もともとSHIMANOが一番フィットするのでそのままこちらで購入。 フィット感も剛性感もホビーライダーには十分すぎます。時々タイムアタックをかけるときも200kmオーバーのライドの時も問題ないです。

シマノのシューズは2足目です。今回もワイドを選択しましたが私の足にはピッタリです。BOAは初めてですが、微調整が簡単で便利ですね。
