Choose the Mask That Fits the Task - HALYARD FLUIDSHIELD* Masks are designed to provide the maximum level of fluid resistance recognized by ASTM F2100-11.ASTM F2100-11: The Standard for Fluid-Resistant Protection - ASTM issues guidelines for performance of medical face masks, including a requirement for fluid resistance and particulate filtration. ASTM F2100-11 standards also call for mask packaging to be clearly labeled with the level of protection in one of three levels: 1, 2 or 3. This standard reinforces the importance of labeling to identify protection level, based on fluid resistance, filtration and breathability. This greatly simplifies the process of mask selection. ASTM F2100-11 is recognized by the FDA as the standard for medical face masks.

**Q: Are these bright orange? If so where can I get the more lightly colored ones?**
A: I bought these masks last year. At the time they were as pictured on this site. A pale orange color, more like peach. Now, January 2022, I bought them again and they have this ugly bright orange color. Did they change the color?

**Q: Are my mask real? I ordered two boxes, expecting the peach colored masks. Mine are bright orange and the material feels different.**
A: The colors may vary from orange, pink or beige. They even have a child size with a design.

**Q: Does :fog-free mean there is a foam piece near tbe nose area?**
A: This mask was given to me by a hospital. I found it more comfortable and protective than the one I was wearing. It doesn’t have a foam piece near the nose area, however, it adapted better to the nose area.

Forget all these trendy faux masks, disgusting reusable and often unwashed masks, I don’t care if look like a doctor, and don’t care they are peach orange. There were used and recommended by the hospital staff at UTMB during a recent emergency room visit. I HATE masks and long airline flights are horrible for me. But these are cool, sturdy, fit and breath well, decent anti fog feature, and very comfortable. No problem wearing them for several hours which is a first for me. Aside from being comfortable are an actual rated medical product and offer a high level of droplet protection and may provide some reasonable protection vs 85% of the mask wearing public who are either or making a fashion or political statement. Buy them, will be pleased, very much worth the few extra dollars over generic disposable masks.
