Gorgeous enamel and mother of pearl compact mirror - with one of them having 2 times magnification. It's a bit smaller than a powder compact but none the less pretty for that. Compact and slim, will slip nicely into any handbag pocket. I took a star off for the pain in my thumbs from attempting to open it! I did it a few times but it was only until I saw the last picture in the advertisement, did I realise what I SHOULD be doing! It's still a bit tricky/painful to open, but I'll persevere until either I get the hang of it or it loosens up a bit! EDIT: The mirror opens more easily now. I think it just needed time to loosen up. It still closes tightly, but opening it isn't a problem any more.

Good value, quality product. Ordered it for my Mum for Mother's day and she was delighted with it. Delivery does take a while as it comes from abroad, which I didn't realise until after ordering. But considering the distance it travelled, it wasn't bad and came well packaged. I would definitely consider ordering another.

It was a nice item except it is just a mirror. It is not a powder compact. It cannot contain make up. The description should just say round mirror. That said it is well made and very pretty. Classy. Stylish and the lady concerned will be very happy I am sure. Just a shame she can't powder her nose!

seriously, i'm the biggest fan of Mother of Pearl. I've got two - one is always in my bag, one is on the office desk. Great present idea - i've bought five or six for my girl friends - they all love it. Great packaging, great quality!
