Perfect!
Strong, stable and reliable. I love this monitor stand! It makes my desk look clean and organised. The quality of the product is sturdy and I like being able to adjust the height of my monitors with ease. The setup was straightforward and offered multiple different types of mounts depending on what setup you have.

Excellent quality, strong and sturdy monitor stand!
As someone who utilises several monitors for work, I wanted to reclaim desk space, without having to drill a load of holes in the wall for wall-mounting my screens. Enter this monitor stand. I had a couple of concerns. Firstly the top of my desk is a couple of inches thick and I didn't want to drill it, so would the clamping capacity of the mount be enough? Secondly, I was planning on mounting two 27" screens, which although not ridiculously heavy, aren't light either. I should not have worried. Firstly the hardware supplied with the mounting kit is ideal, including everything you need to get up and running and there is also a holder built into the cable management for the allen keys, so once assembled you can keep them handy for adjustments. The clamp fixes the mount to the desk very securely, holding the vertical post very nicely. The horizontal arms then attach very nicely, with plenty of adjustment vertically, so if you're mounting large monitors, you should have lots of space. You can then route the cables along the arms and down the vertical post. Overall, it is an excellent piece of kit. It only really does one thing, but it does it very well. If you have screens that are much larger than 27" you will end up using most of the horizontal travel in the arms, so you won't be able to pull the monitors very far forwards, but if you want to reclaim your desk space and mount your monitors without having to drill holes in anything, this is the way to go.

Stands up to attention!
Solid! Pro's: 1. East to setup and connect to. 2. Sturdy and therefore durable (hopefully). 3. Swivel rear mount connectors, to enable swivel monitors. Con's: 4. The only downside is the pole on which the dual mount is connected to, could be longer, by about 6", so a laptop could be on its own tilted desk mount. 5. If using a seperate desk stand for a monitor, you cannot have that stand angled up as the top of the laptop screen will obscure the connected dual monitors. A shame, but I can live with the laptop flat on the desk. Overall, a solid product, go get one.

Perfect for someone who's looking for an affordable and good quality dual monitor stand.
Been using it for years now. Honestly it's easy to set up, it's not too heavy, and the quality for price is genuinely very good. It's very stable if you put it on correctly.

Very Good Dual Arm!
I got recommended these monitor arms by a friend and he was not wrong. There's 2 ways you can build this but I went with the first method. Once it's all together, it clamps really well to my desk and feels very strong and sturdy. The quality of the whole set is great. Everything feels like its made out of a heavy metallic that is strong. It holds my 2 monitors very well too. It has room to move them around, rotate them side to side etc. Helping create different viewing angles and helps get them in thr right position that you want your monitors in. It holds both very well and dont look at all like its going to break or anything. You can have the monitors float high or low as they are connected to the tube that is clamped to the desk and it can be moved up and down when loosened. That is very helpful especially for my posture as I'm now looking straight ahead instead of down now, when on my computer. Absolutely recommend this dual monitor arm, its easily the best on the market at its price.

Very good quality dual monitor arm for the price.
We needed two dual monitor arms in a hurry, to be installed on two separate desks. The only factors we were considering were; 1. same or next day prime delivery, 2. cheap as possible. The Bontec Dual Monitor Stand (BDMS hereafter) arrived on time, in a conveniently small box. No frills packaging, easy to open. In both cases all parts were well packaged and protected, no missing parts. Assembly instructions in english with diagrams were clear and laid out the distinct assembly steps for whether you were mounting the BDMS to a table with a hole, a grommet or no hole. The parts are well finished. We chose black but there's a white option available. There's no chipped paint anywhere. The parts feel weighty and durable, but the supplied allen keys are cheap and it would be possible to bend them if you put too much oomph into tightening some of the bolts. Frankly, as long as all the major parts are of good quality, which they seem to be, I'm not too concerned about the quality of supplied assembly tools - I have my own allen keys anyway, and now I know what size bolts are used, I'd just use my own for routine maintenance (this type of product will always need bolts tightened periodically as they loosen with use). In both cases, the BDMS was assembled onto an Ikea Linnmon / Adils desk. Technically, we probably shouldn't be assembling it onto this type of desk as they have a honeycomb and MDF core, but we accept responsibility for any issues that arise from this - it's an interim solution anyway - however, it appears to work fine. Assembly was straightforward, went as per instructions and was surprisingly quick. I am genuinely shocked by how good the finished product is, in relation to my expectations. I was initially going to refer to the BDMS as "cheap", but that would be doing it an injustice. Instead I'm going to use the word "inexpensive". This is a very good product for the money. It has great vertical adjustment. Horizontal adjustment is good but could be better. Pan, tilt and rotate are all great. In conclusion I wouldn't hesitate to award this product 5 stars - my couple of tiny quibbles are not enough to detract from the score.

Good Value but Far From Perfect Solution
First off, the headline news is that, for the price, this is a decent enough monitor stand and I'm reasonably happy with the price I paid for it (£25). The good bits: Mounting options - there's three different ways to mount this stand, all included in the box, including a grommet mount if your desk has a cable management hole in it (or you fancy drilling one). There's a solid clamp that sits under the desk which screws into the main pole that sits on top of your desk, with a good sized plate with foam washer to protect your desk surface. There's also a clamp to mount to the edge of your desk for a less permanent installation. Assembly - this is relatively easy and well explained in the instructions and each of the components are bagged up separately in the package making it easy to see what bits you need next. Design - this stand has some nice design features, such as a cable management clip that sits on the main shaft, which has holes for the three (supplied) allen keys, so if you need to adjust it over time you know where the tools will be. This clamp sits nicely out of the way behind the shaft so isn't visible when in use. In the grommet clamp attachment, the top of the desk side clamp has a couple of indents to allow for you to run cables through the hole... although if you have fat cables, these are too narrow for you. The less good: The cable management is reasonably good, some U shaped hooks that clip on to the monitor arms and carry the cables underneath - however these are not big enough if you have multiple cables running into each monitor - for example in one of my screens I have the power cable, a fat DVI cable, a DP cable and an audio cable and these will not all fit in the cable management clips which is a shame. Some of the allen bolts in the arms are supplied overtightened and are of poor material manufacture, so using the supplied allen key just strips the aperture on the bolt. The bad bits: This dual screen mount is nowhere near as adjustable as it claims. There are two arms, both attached at the same height to the central shaft of the mount. Whilst you can adjust the height of the arms on the main column, you would be adjusting both arms at the same time. This is particularly annoying if you have two screens of slightly different heights - which fortunately is not an issue for my particular installation. The main limitation of this unit is that you are very limited as you how you configure the two screens. Whilst you can rotate the two screens, if you wish to have the two screens in landscape mode, side by side , you will only be able to have them totally flat to the viewer, which is fine for many people, however you'll be sitting directly infront of where the two bezels meet. Personally, I prefer my main screen to be situated in front of me, with the second screen to the side, angled inwards slightly - this is not possible with this unit. What I have ended up doing is removing one of the arms from one side and adding it the other, which feels very flimsy and the second screen sitting slightly lower than the first (see above issue). Whilst this may become an issue over time, given the weight on the extra arm, right now it seems a reasonable enough compromise to live with, especially given the price paid. I think, if I were purchasing for this solution again, I would probably buy two separate screen mounts to give me the ultimate in being able to place each screen exactly where I wanted it.
