Absolutely beautiful
Absolutely stunning. I went all in on the Wreck'n'Rule subline, and so far it doesn't disappoint! Springer here is absolutely amazing. I seem to have lucked out on quality control, as all the joints are tight, nothing's fragile, plastic feels solid, everything is good. Unfortunate that QC is a bit hit or miss, but if you find one that's fine, you're in for a treat. Clearly the superior paintjob compared to the Siege Springer as well.

"I've got better things to do tonight than die." -Springer
Created as Ostaros, an experiment in making an artificial Cybertronian indistinguishable from the genuine article, by the scientist Mesothulas; Mesothulas's partner Prowl had a crisis of conscience as their collaborative efforts grew increasingly depraved, together with Impactor, killed Mesothulas and recruited Ostaros into the Autobots as "Springer", giving him to Kup to train. Later joining the Wreckers under Impactor, he would turn on his mentor after the latter slaughtered the helpless Squadron X, handing him in to the Autobot High Command, and would be made their leader by a team fearful of being held accountable for their own crimes. Later, he would take a leave of absence to rescue Kup from Tsiehshi, although many Autobots would be killed in the process–the old Autobot driven insane by the Ore-8 on the planet. He would later be overjoyed by Kup's apparent recovery, and would briefly fall under his leadership after the Surge. Eventually, in an attempt by the Wreckers to recover the Aequitas trial data from the Decepticon-held Garrus-9, he would be reunited with a barely-repentant Impactor before almost being killed by Overlord. After a long time in recovery, he would awake mysteriously after Mesothulas–now calling himself Tarantulas–captured Prowl. After the resulting mission, he effectively quit the Autobots, living on Earth with Verity Carlo, but a final encounter with Tarantulas and Overlord led to him travelling back in time, attempting to end the War before it began by nudging history in a better direction, one Cybertronian at a time.

Maybe I'm just obsessed with low standards, but I adore this figure!
So, this might just be my little Transformers obsession speaking, but I love this figure. I haven't even tried to transform him, but I really don't plan to. His paint job and frame are absolutely to die for, with a few itty bitty nicks that I can let pass by. For me he's really easy to pose if you just make him stand right. Some people in the reviews said his joints were loose, but they're just smooth moving. He can be a little wobbly, but that's only if you put his feet in a weird position. Over all sturdy if you pose him properly. I got him on sale, and for someone who is picky with how they spend their money, I think I got my money's worth. Love him, love the figure! ♡

A Great Figure Ruined by QC Issues
My copy was terrible. Nearly every single joint, peg, clip, or tab was loose, popping off, or warped. My figure was unable to hold together right out of the box. My figure wouldn't stand, lift it's arms, or transform without an issue. It was so bad, I had to order a replacement and the replacement was even worse, which surprised me. It took me about 2 days to take the figure apart and fix these tolerances/issues and even still, the quality someone how feels lesser than the Siege version of the same mold. It's a shame because the character, mold, and actual figure is fantastic, but the quality of parts is what brings it to such a low star count. If this is a gift, be aware of these issues. Looking at what others have said, it looks like it's half and half for QC. The product I got was not worth the $30+ it cost and the time it took to have to fix the figure just to get it to an acceptable state. The picture is Springer after I spent some time fixing what I could. If you buy, hopefully you get a solid copy. :)

As noted by the Headline this figure is a pretty good modern take on the G1 Springer, weather you are getting/ have gotten the OG WFC Siege figure or your getting the Amazon version it makes for a great display figure for your collection. Or if you happen to be one of the many people dealing with stress/ADHD it makes for a good fidget toy ( As all transformers past and present are, aside from being a puzzle for kids and adult collectors alike) If you happen to be making/ updating your 86 movie cast it also makes that list also. Yeah there are times that you may feel like it could break but if done gently can be performed with ease I.e. The arm section can be a pain at first in robot mode but if you have the patience they will line up after a few tries. If you have trouble with the flight mode ( Helicopter mode) and getting to it the trick with the waist joint it to somewhat keep it in the car mode position and not have it fully extended away from the body, if done in this order you will have an easier time tabbing in the arms and the backpack making a more solid looking flight mode. Note : If you happen to own the "Thrilling 30" 2014 Generations release of Springer with the IDW concept look it makes for a good comparison with it. Altogether really good figure.

A great figure with great articulation and a good look in all 3 modes. The transformation is quite intuitive but can be frustrating at times, especially when dealing with connecting parts from the upper body to the bottom. I'd recommend making sure his waist mushroom peg is fully pushed in, and his crotch piece is level with the sides of his waist (as opposed to the protrusion in the middle), and you'll have no problem transforming him.
