FABULOUS!
After trying this model out at my physical therapist's office, I HAD to get one of my own! Honestly, I LOVE this bike! (I previously had a traditional, upright exercise bike that I rarely used because it was difficult to get on and off of it. Also, even though it had a "wider, more comfortable seat," it hurt my butt. Ugh!) So, THIS bike is not only easy to get in and out of (just step in and step out--no climbing), the seat is COMFORTABLE! It is like an ordinary lawn chair with a padded seat. JOY! As a result of the way more convenient and comfortable ride this bike offers, I look forward to exercising with it most days for 50-60+ minutes. Another really great thing about this bicycle is that you can still ride it when the power is out! The electronic programming will not work, of course, but the pedals and flywheel are operational. The programming is a bit complicated, but the bike comes with a concise instruction manual that helps. Once you get the basics down, it's easy. Assembly instructions are good, and all parts and necessary tools are included. Everything is wrapped separately and carefully to avoid any possible damage. The bike is quite heavy, so it really helps to have two people putting it together. After assembly is completed, the back of the bike can be easily lifted up by one person, using the built-in lift bar, and rolled into the desired room/position. There is a shallow shelf between the upper handlebars for a cell phone, tablet, or other skinny devise, and a water bottle holder on the main support tube. The seat distance is fully adjustable; I made marks for my husband and myself on the seat support slider with a Sharpie pen, so we can easily return the seat to the distance that fits us individually. Operation is silent. This recumbent exercise bike is one of the best investments we've ever made. Right now, the arthritis in my knees prevents me from walking or jogging for exercise, and this bike allows me to get the exercise I need and want without causing pain and further damage to my knees. (After surgery, I will surely continue using my bike.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great Recumbent Bike!
I purchased this bike to augment the exercise bike I was using at physical therapy. It has only been 2 weeks, but I am really enjoying it. It came well packaged, and everything was included (including the tools needed for assembly). My son put this together for me and it took him about 2 hours. It wasn't very difficult. However, a couple of the bolts would not line up correctly and it took some maneuvering to get them to work without damaging them (or the bike) in any way. Everything else went together quite easily. The bike is a joy to ride. You have to either program a level yourself or use one of the preset programs in order to take advantage of the levels of resistance. Understanding the programming took me a little bit of time, but I managed to get it down. I think that the instructions could be a clearer on how to set the levels of resistance - it took a little trial-and-error to find out how it was done. The bike is very sturdy and solid. The seat is comfortable, easy to adjust, and locks in tight. Although, if you have more than one person using it, you might want to use a sharpie to mark the bar under the seat so that you know where to put it for each person. Pedaling is smooth and the bike is stable as I ride. I love the "shelf" where I can put my tablet and watch virtual bike rides as I work out. As I said, it's only been 2 weeks, but I am very pleased with the bike and would definitely recommend it. I will know more after a few months of riding as to how everything holds up. I hope that it lasts for years, but time will tell.

Excellent Value
Research and reviews led me to this bike Purchased to help with knee replacement recovery. I am 6’2, 270 lbs, 70 years old. Bike is packaged well; illustrated instructions are decent, but could offer more details in some sections. Took me a couple of hours to assemble. All required tools are included, but a decent Phillips screwdriver will help. This bike is well-engineered and designed. All parts are heavy-duty metal and are either powder-coated or chromed. Nice, full welds and quality parts throughout. Everything is easy to use, with a comfortable seat and simple electronics. Solid, sturdy construction. I am very happy with this bike.

Great Bike - Decent Customer Service
Easy to Assemble, comfortable, lots of options for workout routines, and Surface pro fits above the screen so I can work or watch shows while I ride. After 2 months of daily use the right pedal came off. I didnt use locktite or any thread locker on the assembly as I though it would not be necessary. Well the threads in the crank arm are now stripped and the threads on the pedal arent that great either. Customer service was quick to tell me this was an older design and that was a common problem. New Crank Arm, Crank Arm removal Tool, and Pedal are on their way. Total turn around time from call to package arrival looks like 11 days, which sucks, but at least i have a rower i can use for Cardio. I did ask, since this is a common problem can you please send the left crank arm and left pedal so I wont have to deal with this again. Nope. So I'm sure in 2 months we'll be dealing with this again is the thread-locker doesnt work. UPDATE - new crank arm and pedal arrived with a puller tool for the crank arm. I had to use my mini torch and beeswax to get the crank arm off. So I highly suggest using blue thread locker when installing the pedals and maybe you wont have this issue.

Well made & runs quietly
This bike is what my physical therapist office had for the price. It’s unbelievable. I would think it would have a bigger price tag of $1000 more on it. It is so well-made, it comes together easily with 2 people . It’s heavy duty. It’s whisper quiet. It is my favorite new purchase!

Update: Flawed - NOT RECOMMENDED
Update. DO NOT BUY. Now in service just over five weeks. Only use 30 minutes per workout but NOT every day. After only about three weeks began to make clicking/thumping noises while peddling. Bike is level and plumb. Manufacturer advises remove covers and check belt and various bearings. YouTube advises tighten belt and belt counter tension on either side of axle (covers off). IT's NEW! Problems should be years away. Money wasted. Demoted from two stars to one. Sturdy frame. Quiet operation. Poor design of seat back and seat pad. Seat is like an office chair. Pad is elephant size. Seat back is too large and wide. Interferes with many upper body exercises you may do while sitting. Does for me. Back is plastic frame with mesh middle. Like pet carrier mesh. Inner arms and elbows hit back frame in normal seat position. Uncomfortable. Display VERY bright. All workouts are 10 one-minute bars that repeat. If you want a 60-minute workout you will get the same 10 minutes six times. Programmable workouts same. Time must be set each use, even in programmable modes. Set times work in count down mode only. If not using count down time, user must monitor display or use a stop-watch alarm. Exercise completed warning in count down mode is several barely audible clicks. Heart rate monitor in my machine reads about 20 beats per minute low. According to the heart rate monitor, I am resting at 68 BPM when heart rate by stop-watch is 96. When I reported issues to Sunny via their web site I got a meaningless reply. I bike daily. This is a beginner's bike for someone who just wants to pedal simple workouts. Barely a pass for me. My vintage Schwinn 220 was superior in every way. I am a 5'10" and 140 lbs male. 31" inseam. Would not buy again.

I love this bike--and AMAZING customer service!
As someone who's had four or five different kinds of recumbent exercise bikes over the years, this Sunny is my favorite. The drive mechanism is super smooth and silent, and I love the soft seat and the mesh-backing. The latter is a revelation for people like me who push themselves hard and sweat a LOT while riding. The controls are straightforward and not too fancy, which is what I wanted. At this price point, there's not a single other bike out there as good as the Sunny. My favorite thing about the bike, though, is Sunny's customer service. I felt compelled to write this review because I saw a few one-star reviews that commented on the company's poor or non-existent customer service one you've bought the bike. That's completely false. I did have a problem with the bike's belt about ten months in, after the warranty ended. At that point, a long, detailed, and daily conversation began between me and Steven, Sunny's main tech-support person, on how to get my bike back to perfect working order. Seriously, at least 50 emails went back and forth between us, and Steven was so knowledgeable and prompt and respectful. He has to take in customer questions in the order he receives them, but I never waited more than 24 hours. Even with the bike out of warranty, Steven and Sunny helped me with parts and tools and so much advice. At this point, I have a perfectly new bike and Sunny covered costs they had no obligation to given that the warranty had ended. I just hope they pay Steven what he's worth, because he proved to be saint in how hard he worked to help me out. Seriously, I felt like the guy cared about me as a person, which was really refreshing. So yes, a five-star bike with ten-star customer service. I've never been treated so well by a company of any kind before. And that is absolutely 100% the truth. (And nope, I don't work for Sunny and they didn't pay me to write this--they didn't even suggest I write a review.)

One Year Later
Faster than expected delivery. The box looked a little banged up, but the bike was completely protected on the inside. We unpacked the parts one at a time and lined them up on the dining room table, then put the base of the bike on the kitchen counter for easier assembly. We are both in our seventies, so we’re a bit apprehensive about assembling the bike on our own. Like the description on Amazon suggests, it is definitely a two-person job. It took us approximately two hours to complete the job. I have ridden it twice, and so far it seems very sturdy. It does take up quite a bit of space, but that was expected, so make sure you have room for it in advance. So far, so good. So, one year later and I’m still loving this recumbent bike. I ride it (almost) everyday for at least an hour. It’s very easy to get on, as you can easily step over the base, which is only a couple of inches off the floor. My knees feel so much better and stronger. And I’ve finally gotten my husband to ride it. Only thing I would like to see would be a little basket/shelf that you could use for a book or for tv remotes. I had to clip A plastic basket on it but it’s not really very stable. Other than that one issue, I really love it!
