I took my hubby to get his first pedicure and I got one with him, and they were using similar files/rasps at the spa. I have pretty sensitive feet, so it's hard to get pedicures, but with this file and the right pressure, my feet were super soft. My hubby has very dry, cracked heels and I typically do his pedicures at home, he is also diabetic & hates wearing shoes and socks, so his heels are really dry. I've used sanding blocks, a dremel (yes, an actual dremel) and then I tried a nail drill with the sanding wheel. Nothing ever got his heels that smooth, not even using a callus softening cream. So I bought one of these, I didn't know at the spa that they were more of a file because they were using them on wet feet so it was more "rubbing" the dead skin off rather than sanding it, but once I got this and used it on my hubby's feet... it takes just a minute or 2 and his heels are almost back to normal after just a couple of uses, most of the deep cracks are gone, and this makes his heels really smooth. It has a coarse side and a fine side, and I've used the fine side on my arms when they are really dry (I have psoriasis and really dry skin, lotion isn't a big help) and it makes my arms super soft too and doesn't hurt too much. So if you have really dry, cracked heels, I'd get one of these and use it. I don't use it with water or after he soaks his feet, I found it works best on dry feet (no pun intended). They are pretty sturdy, so they don't flex or bend when using pressure and they don't wear out in the same way that sanding paper or blocks do.

Did a lot of looking around before I purchased this file. It is very sturdy without being heavy. I did not want any plastic parts and this is solid stainless steel. This makes it easy to clean and keep in top shape. The course and fine sides are the perfect abrasion without being harsh and damaging. Best file I have ever owned, hands down. Highly recommend!

This file did not disappoint. It is easy to use and maneuver even with my rheumatoid arthritis. It took pesky calluses away quickly, gently, and easily. Call me a super fan, but my feet haven’t looked this good, ever. Just buy it and flaunt those summer feet!

My wife will write the review: This might have gotten 5 stars if I could clean it. I'm not a professional, so I shook off the rubbings and saw that skin was left on the paddle, so I soaked it in soapy water, thinking that would loosen the skin. Nope. To this day there are little bits of skin on the paddle. So I only use it on my feet and bought a different one for my hubby. It DOES make the heels of my feet smooth, so I'm not complaining. It just doesn't clean up well enough to "share."

I was influenced to buy these by a podiatrist and was not disappointed. No rusting and gentle on your skin all while exfoliating properly.

This foot file reminds of tgecmuch more expensive version used at Bliss Spa. This filecisxlight, ergonomically designed so easy to hold in different positions, which allow you to really remove dead skin calluses from the sole of your foot it can be used whether the foot is wet or dry. After use simply wipe clean and allow to air dry and store until the next use. It is sold at a great price an d I highly recommend!!

A must buy! I’m one that researches and researches, so I decided on this one as it had positive reviews, and I’m so glad I did! I haven’t searched for a foot file in a long time, and I am really glad I did! I have a callus along the outer edge of my right big toe. It became so bad that I was like, I gotta find something to help. It’s best to use in the shower. It works great on the heel too. I highly, highly recommend.

I'm sure it works for at home use, but I was hoping it'd be as good as the Footlogix one this is a knock-off for. It's not as sharp as the footlogix one and doesn't really work as efficiently. Sigh, guess I have to spend the $30 on the Footlogix one
