Update: I've used this drone now 3 times. I have not been able to go beyond 0.3 miles and today while flying it disconnected a 0.3 mile away at 360 feet up. It should have returned home upon disconnect, but it wouldn't move. I had to walk about a good distance towards it before the drone reconnected to the controller and I was able to bring it back. On top of that, nearly all photos I took were glitched with a large horizontal pink blob. I will add one photo to this to show where it took 2 shots from merged them together and stuck a pink line in it. ( I have the recommended SD card to prevent this from happening, and it still happened.) Lastly, the battery life is extremely lacking from the advertisement. After flying for about 20 minutes the low battery comes on, and the controller disconnects and returns home, but when I get it back it still has 3 out of the 4 bars. I will say that it flies very well and maneuvers well, with the exception of above 300 feet. Then yaw, pitch, and roll, all are very slow to react, as well as taking photos.Original unedited post: I waited to purchase during Black Friday sales, and ordered through Amazon mostly due to accumulated points. I was concerned about ordering from Amazon due to several other orders arriving already used and damaged.My EXO drone arrived quickly, in great condition, and already charged. The feel of everything seems of great quality and not cheap plastic.Unfortunately, after inspecting everything I put it away. I have committed to studying for the part 107 test and had my wife hold my new EXO drone "hostage" as motivation to study and pass the exam.I studied and passed the exam and have logged 3 hours of flight time. The drone flies very smoothly. I have been to 400 feet and half a mile in 11 mph winds. The return home was a but slow due to head wind but the x7 Ranger handled very well and the battery life was fantastic.My only downside about purchasing through Amazon was I didn't receive the free Part 107 course nor the 1 year free drone care that was offered on the EXO website. I paid for Pilot Institute and glad I did.I'm very happy with the ordering process and the quality and care of the product. Looking forward to flying again soon.

I have always been interested in drones but the prices have always deterred me from getting one. The ones that were affordable did not have the flight time or capabilities one would want. I saw an ad for this product and immediately started to look and I'm glad I did. It controls well and is not just a flying camera but a fun flying experience. You put this thing into fast mode and it's exactly what I had hoped. If you are in the market for a drone I would highly recommend this product. Not only does it have a great price point but seems to be very sturdy and well made as well as having a setup that is so easy my grandmother could do it. Great product and the company has my appreciation for putting it at a price that makes it affordable for most/all.

Perfect for my use to inspect roofs that are to high and too steep to walk on. Almost as good as DJI for a lot less

Was excited to get in my EXO Ranger Pro, and after a quick tutorial (and working up a little nerve being a first time pilot) I got her flying quick and easy!! Even got some pretty nice video and pictures of the family, and for my first flight ever I'm pretty thrilled with that... Still gonna take some practice before I'm zipping around the sky, but seems to be very intuitive to control so far and I'm glad I chose EXO Ranger Pro for my first of what I presume to be many additions to my newfound hobby!!

Charge this baby up and get flying! This was my first drone and it is SO easy to fly! The pictures and video are awesome. Build quality and stability are great. The only downside is batteries take a while to charge and at a 20 minutes flight time is annoying. I recommend the 3 battery option when purchasing.

I received the drone a few days ago, and both the battery and remote were charged and ready to go, so I watched both the Quick Start and Feature Walkthrough videos and was in the air about 10 - 15 minutes after that. The drone is very easy to fly, but since I am a newbie and have decided not to use headless mode it'll take me some time to get acclimated to the drone's orientation. I haven't used any of the automated flying features yet (follow me, circle, etc.), but I do plan to once I'm more familiar with the basics. Overall, after doing a ton of research on many drones in the beginner / intermediate category, I'm extremely happy that I went with this one. One more thing, the customer support so far has been excellent! I've only reached out once, but I received a quick and very thorough response. There's nothing like feeling fully supported after your drone purchase, especially when you're new to drones.
