The Ultimate DSL Cable
I ordered this 25' cable for a friend using a Verizon DSL modem. She was constantly experiencing drops in her internet as seen at the modem. Upon review of her setup, she was using a 25' telephone cable and a phone splitter from the wall. I replaced that setup with this C2G 25' cable and a actual DSL/phone splitter with a built in filter/choke. The results were remarkable! I won't say it totally eliminated all drops but close. This cable in well made more like a CAT 6 cable than a phone cable. If you're here, just buy it now! You will not regret it.

Robust, high quality and good performance RJ-11
Upgrade for our ATT DSL modem. Initial impression was “F¥€K they sent me RJ45 instead!”. LOL! Looks nothing like phone line. This is very robust, Ethernet style, round cable. Closer inspection revealed it did in fact have RJ11 connectors. Everything seems very well built and high quality. I have little doubt those cable will last a long time. As an added bonus, controlled experiments on our home network with speed testing shows 5% faster download and upload speeds from several providers. Latency has improved a similar amount. Coming from Walmart sourced ONN brand ordinary phone line that was 10 years old and had been through a few modem melting lightning storms. We still had issue free connectivity but since we’re replacing all our network hardware after the last storm we figured why not upgrade all the patch cables and the phone line as well.

Perfect for UVerse VOIP router
For a while I’ve been wanting to move my ATT VOIP router to a different location but the tech that installed it provided only a short wire. I always thought there was something cosmic about this type of wire due to the voice requirements over the internet line. Turns out these cables are readily available on the market, but they don’t explicably say it works with ATT voice and data routers. Well this one works perfectly. Great length at a great price. High quality material is sturdy yet professional looking. Voice and data with UVerse ATT works as advertised with no degradation of service. Highly recommend.

Good cable
I was provided a short patch cable by my ISP. They told me that I could order a longer one from them if I need it. Well turns out I already had the longest one they sold. I was concerned that if I went to a longer cable my connectivity would degrade, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my average speeds were indeed slightly higher than with the original cable. The connectors on this cable a rock solid. I wish more cables used a higher quality connector like this one. My only knock is the insulating jacket and overall cable thickness is a bit rigid but I will take the performance over the appearance any day.

Works Great
Needed this 25ft internet cable so I could relocate my wifi router and elevate it on a tall shelf. A quick speed test shows it carries data just as fast as the orginal ATT cable the router came with. Nice, thick round cable vs the flat "phone wire" that uses RJ11 connections to fit correctly. Great value.

It works just like expected!
Not much can be said about this RJ11 cable. I rearranged some furniture in my office and was going to need a longer cable to reach my VDSL modem. I bought the best-rated, shielded cable Amazon had in the length that I needed and it met my expectations. It seems high-quality; it's about as thick as a standard ethernet cable and the connectors are nice. It's a little stiff when unrolling it and it wants to keep it's coiled shape, but a little massaging and some cable ties solved the problem. I never had problems with my connection before and I haven't had a problem since, either. I'm sure the shielded cable is added security against poor signal or crosstalk, especially at longer distances. If I had to buy another one I certainly would. Zero complaints, works exactly as I expected it to.

Have DSL via "copper"? YOU NEED THIS!
I recently switched back to my phone company's DSL internet even though they still don't have "Residential Fiber" in front of my house. I was tired of the cable company's intermittent outages, low speeds even with high speed numbers, and overcharging for the service. NOTE: in my experience, if you have close to 100 Mbps DSL it is always faster than 200 Mbps Cable (or more). This is probably true because a Data Subscriber Line (DSL) is a direct connection to your internet company, and Cable is a SHARED connection with your neighbors. I found out from the installer that a 4-strand RJ11 phone cable was needed and he used the one I already had. They will supply one but it is of roughly the same quality as what I had. And I was getting speeds that were less than I got when I had DSL before (same company and location). I shopped around and found out that higher quality phone cable exists, so I found this one and ordered it. It costs 3 or 4 times what standard phone cables cost, but is worth every penny. The major problem with standard RJ11 phone cable is that it is NOT shielded. Having its four wires in two "twisted pairs" and shielding around them all helps cut down interference from power cables and other EM interference. This cable has both. My speeds more than doubled, up to very close to my maximum paid-for speed. All three measures improved significantly! I could not be happier with this cable.

Mejoró mi internet en un 15% ya que el que da Telmex es de muy baja calidad y muy corto

Excellent quality, I recently had get a technician come out as I had a problem with my Internet after a recent move, and he commented on the quality of this cable and was very impressed.

used to replace standard phone cable. speed slightly higher but less interference and a lot less jitter, etc as is shielded. bit expensive imo.

I was relocating my computer, and I needed to replace my 6-foot cable that came with the modem with a 25-foot cable. I was concerned that I'd be lowering the quality of my connection because that's always a risk when you use a longer cable. There are cheaper options available, but I didn't want to risk anything going wrong, so I went with this cable, and I'm so glad I did! If it's even possible, my connection seems stronger than it did with the shorter cable. This cable is much thicker than usual phone cables -- it's similar to an ethernet cable in thickness -- so I had to get 6 mm clips to attach these to my wall. They fit great and now my setup looks very neat and is still just as fast as ever. I do have to warn you that the cable connectors protrude from the wall/modem much more than a thinner cable does. It's not as flexible so it needs more clearance, so keep that in mind. It connects into my modem from the underside, and it sticks out so much that I can't actually put it on the floor. I consider this a fair trade because the build quality on these cables is so high.
