I have been using a curling iron almost daily for my medium length, naturally wavy/curly hair which chooses its own unsightly direction to fall after a good night’s sleep. I treated myself to a new one after using the same ones for so many (30+) years. I wanted to experiment with one that heated fast to a known temperature. I took a week to read all the details of every one I could find. The 1.25 inch size is apparently not sold routinely in stores, but I know that is the perfect barrel dimension for my needs. Even my salon uses other sizes, none of which work for me. This Pretfy iron fits that bill. I’ve been using it for a week and love it. I was pleased to see how low I could set the temperature and still get fabulous, long-lasting results. Knowing that 310 degrees works fine, I suppose I was damaging my hair for all these years just using unnecessarily high temps. Two minutes of experimentation showed me what works best and what is unnecessary. The tip gets WARM, certainly not hot has some have complained. The spring to hold the hair is perfect. Hair does not slip but is easy to remove. This is definitely a winner in every regard!

I love the fact that this curling iron displays the temperature and it starts out at 140°, making it perfect for use on heat friendly wigs. I love it!!

I just got this yesterday. So all I can say is that the color is not pink rose but golden rose. Not that's important but it's the principle. The site shows pink / rose & that's not what I got. I was just surprised. Haven't used it yet. Will put in later review. 🌹

The iron itself curled well, but the end tip got extremely hot. You couldn’t touch it with your bare hand. The glove just got in the way so I returned it.

My second one of these. I like being able to dial heat down to 240, most curling irons start at 300 and dry out my hair. Good price and product.

This heats to 450, has textured barrel that holds fine hair better than the shiny slick barrel.
