CA-SOFTCASE-MTG InFocus Corporation Soft Carry Case for Meeting Room Projector

This product claims to be 5.9 x 14.2 x 11 inches however I bought this for a projector I purchased that is 5.5 x 13.8 x 10.6 inches (smaller than the bag in every way) and it did not fit as the bag was too small (it wouldn't go in either width or length). According to my tape measure, I would count on this bag's dimensions being closer to (12.5 x 11 x 4*** see edit below) inches for whatever you actually want to fit in it. The 4 inches is the actual width for the main item area, there is a bit more space than that (presumably a total 5.9, but I doubt it) for you to store other items like unto remotes and chords.***edit update- I also bought a go speak pro speaker system which is 13 x 8.75 inches when folded and it BARELY squeezes in with its length and width.***The bag does not provide a lot of cushioning or protection, mostly it just gives a convenient and nice way to carry it. If you want something that you can feel comfortable jostling around a bit as you set it down or gently bump into a doorway because you are carrying too much then I suggest getting a better quality bag.My review does not include any actual longevity use; as of right now, I am assuming it will hold up. I am keeping it even though it will not work for what I purchased it for, because I have a different item to use it with. Unfortunately, now I have to come up with a different solution than the one I was planning on for transporting my projector and I am out of shipping time for my event. I purchased two of these cases for a pair of Panasonic PTVX400U (W x H x D) 13 ¾” × 3 ¾” × 11” projectors. After seeing the carrying case that was provided with the new projectors I laughed then soon realized as much as they would be transported I needed something with more protection. These projectors get carried onto an airplane about 2-3 times a month. The biggest thing I was looking for outside of padding was streamlined...something that could house the necessary cables without the bulk. To my surprise these worked great. When initially placing the projectors in this case it was very tight. So much so I was concerned it was putting to much pressure on the unit- primarily the lens. I am not certain it has not placed additional stress on the lens but after 3 months of use the projectors are fine and the cases seem to be stretching a little to accommodate the projector for the better. I have tried a lot of cases for our Panasonic projectors and this is the best one. I gave it 4 stars because I think the case having an extra 1/2" (depth) to accommodate the protruding lens would make for a better fit. Also a little more padding wouldn't hurt. I think it is the best balanced case if you are looking for something that is streamlined and offers good protection. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Fits InFocus IN3138HD Projector. Bought a Projector. Needed a Case - Quick! To expedite, this works and price was right. However, had we had more time, we might have gone another direction. Case really needs more padding for constant mobility. With that said, the way we use this Case is to store the Projector on a Media Cart in a Media Closet. For us, it's a dust bag case. And so it goes...This Case houses the Projector, manuals, Passive HDMI Switch & remotes (Projector & HDMI Switch), 4 Redmere HDMI Cables and Projector electrical cable. The Primary 30 foot Redmere Cable is carried separately. A consideration worth noting if mobility is required. For our setup, it's about storage.Other Case options for mobility would be - If we had the need, would include maybe choosing either LowPro Slingshot soft case or SKB hard case. The LowPro Slingshot is a perfect Digital Camera Case. And the SKB hard cases are excellent Gear Cases for A/V Gear. Hope this helps!

I got this case to keep my InFocus IN116 projector safe. I ordered them at the same time, and the case was on the 'Also Bought' list. It's a decent looking case and has ok padding. However, this case is quite large for a normal size projector. The inner dimensions of the case (not shown on the product page) are about 14" wide x 10.5" deep x 4.5" tall. Way too big for the InFocus IN100 series. If you have a larger projector, it's a nice case. If you have a relatively compact one, look elsewhere for a smaller case.Recently I bought the Adorama Slinger Bag, and it is a perfect fit for the Infocus IN116 projector! Plus, it's very padded since it's designed to hold digital cameras. Get one of those instead.

Works well for my Dell 1610HD. I would have liked a little more padding all around, and a little more storage for cables, but it's ok.

I got this to carry the Epson VS340 XGA 3 LCD projector. Projector fits fine with room around the edges, and space for accessories. Padding is sufficient that I feel like projector is protected. Has both a handle and a shoulder strap. The only thing I would add (and its minor) is that it would be great if it had a slim outside pocket for slipping in a file folder.

Everything was just as described. I have not yet traveled with it but from everything I see it appears to be well made, protects the projector well and is comfortable to carry. The only problem I had was the delivery was late but that was a problem with FedEx, not the vendor

Fit all of my components and the projector. Should have purchased sooner.

This is a really good value case that does the job and a much lower cost than lots of generic or branded cases out there. It fits my InFocus 112X perfectly and that projector is a bot of an odd size.

Right size for portable projector and speakers. Well made. Lots of compartments for wires and well padded for protection.

The carry case for InFocus projector is the perfect match!!! Well made and great design. Shipped quickly! Exactly what I expected!

Nice to have a case that is designed for our brand of projector at a price that is competitive.Quality seems good, users of carry case and projector seem pleased.Including another small pocket in the design would have been nice.
