Bought this one to replace my original P3 and then ... found my original! This gave me a great opportunity to compare the two. The original is shorter and slightly thicker than the new one and has a much better on/off switch - with a definite "click". The new torch has a "weaker" switch covered by a thin rubber membrane. The beams are comparable in terms of brightness, but the focus on the new model is more adjustable (which is good). The old one came with a pocket clip (as does the new one) and also a very handy lanyard (missing from the new one). Having said all that they are both well made, robust little torches and I would still recommend the new unit!

This is a nice little torch. I like that it takes 1 x AA battery, is lightweight, has a nice compact size & is easy to turn on & off with the tail cap. Brightness can be switched between the first click on (turn on - dim - turn off) and the second (turn on - bright - turn off). The adjustable head with a simple pull out to focus or push to make a spotlight & with the metal clip attached it makes ot versatile for either holding in your mouth (when you need two hands), or clipping to a shirt/vest/watchband (I've done this). The price is good value for money because this is a trustworthy brand that has not only great reliability but also performance. I've also had the bigger TT model for the last 4 oears which is also great.

Bought to replace an earlier good quality torch, (different brand) that had been broken. Changes from a narrow beam to a wide angle beam. Seems well made, (quite heavy) meaning it appears sturdy and uses 4 AAA batteries. The battery holder/switch screw is tight as it has an O Ring seal. Has a lope carrying handle. I found it fiddly to attach the strap. I sent the manufacturer a picture of me using a trimmed down plastic bag twist tie, pushed the tough the holes - so much easier to thread the carrying handle through the holes. I WOULD RECOMMEND TRYING THIS.

I Always get ledlenser products and this was is a quality little torch with a universal AA battery and very efficient. Bright for such a small torch and great for emergency situations so I’ve got a lithium battery inside. Has three levels of brightness and a great easy to focus system that stays put. From flood to beam and in between. Love it.

The tip extends with an unscrewing motion that was a happy surprise for me. Battery life seems good, nice aluminium case and easy to carry thanks to the low weight. Nice and bright for indoors, the clip let me put it on my shirt for freeing my hands and the brightness held up. It’s a bit thicker than a pen but a satisfactory size to go into the bag.

Bright enough, but the switch is a terrible design. It requires a great deal of force to make it latch on, and it is too small and recessed to be done one handed. The problem is compounded by the cycling through the light levels, so you might have to press it three or four times to get to max brightness, and it's a two handed operation. Also the pen clip style holder is not removeable.

Great little emergency torch - bright for its size and you could pop this in your pocket and barely know it’s there - purchased for my daughters gap year trip.

Les + Les finitions sont soignés, solide. 3 puissances d’éclairage (quoi que 2 aurait largement suffit) N’utilise qu’une pile AA standard. Fonctionne bien aussi avec des rechargeables mais un peu moins lumineux. Le faisceau focalisable est rare sur les modèles AA. Cercle lumineux bien définit, lumière suffisante et uniforme à l’intérieur. Ne chauffe pas. Les - Les points autour de la tête ne s’illuminent pas rouge comme sur les vrais Ledlenser, trahison ! :( Plus grande et moins lumineuse que les lampes AA concurrentes. La couleur très froide et légèrement verdâtre de la lumière typique des Ledlenser traditionnelles. Focalisée au maximum, la lumière ne fait pas un point net mais un carré moche. Chère.

Puissance et taille compacte, une seule pile AAA pour 5h d'autonomie, 3 modes de Puissance Corps aluminium et très solide. Focus ledlenser toujours excellent

Bright for its small size. On off button a bit hard to operate.
