It’s thick cotton maybe with some wool content (?). It’s warm.

This shawl can be worn by either a man or a woman. Most men prefer black and most women prefer gray.

Q: What material is it made out of? Wool, Cotton?

I think it’s wool, it’s not as soft as the once you buy in north India, but after a few rounds of delicate laundry the material seemed to have softened. It’s very worm and over all I am pleased.
