It measures 10 1/2 inches burner contact size, interior cooking surface the same.

Q: Is this heavy like the Lodge products or is it lighter like a standard pan?

Yes, it is heavy. This is a wonderful pot. I use mine often in the fall. Great for gift giving as well. Definitely a 5 star.

Q: What is the inside material made of? And does the outside contain lead or cadmium?

Its enamaled. Products made for food are not allowed to contain what you posted by law.
