Rarely do I write a review. However, this desk office is great. The price is excellent. Its design provides for great air exchange for your computer. Its light weight allows for easy movement/placement of the desk. The desk can be put together in 10 to 15 minutes. The base is metal with screws that are threaded into metal inserts into the the top. The top is one solid piece. This is a very solid desk. The top is high enough to allow excellent leg room. I have spent thousands on executive desks in the past which are heavy, cumbersome to move, limit leg room movement due to height, and have average connection points between parts of the desk leading to failure. This is an excellent desk on all points.

Very impressed with this desk from Bon Augure. It is a very simplistic, slab-of-wood, modern style computer/work desk. If you don't mind the fact it does not have any drawers or do not need to hook up monitor arms or anything too advanced, this should serve you very well. I really liked the look and after building my new PC, I treated myself to a new desk with more room on top and clearance underneath. Despite being "simple", it is very much a sturdy desk and I have no complaints in this department. Props to Bon Augure for the packaging, too! Despite the outer box being slightly damaged, this desk inside was very, very well packaged and not a single blemish from shipping. Assembly was very intuitive and the instructions were very clear and idiot-proof, which is always a plus. It took me one quarter of NBA basketball (playing in the background) to put this thing together. A driver with a #4 hex bit will come in handy and speed things up significantly on most of the joints versus the included tool. The metal mesh in the back goes about halfway down and is useful in cable management and keeping things out of your way/off the ground. The only drawbacks I can really say is that it is very "generic" and basically a knock-off of the trend of turning an old door into a desk thing. But if you want something already designed and prefabricated for you, this is a fine option. The lack of any drawers was a bit of a bummer, but it gives you the option to either add on one later (as I did) or just go without. As I said, very minimalist here. Maybe Bon Augure should look into selling add-ons or options like drawers, different color metals, wood, etc. to give people more unique options. All in all though, this is a very nice desk for my situation and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a simple, modern looking computer desk.

After we moved we needed a couple new desks and I chose this one specifically because all the reviews said it was very sturdy.....it is!! Does not wobble AT ALL when using my computer or writing notes, etc. It was very easy to assemble and the Rustic Oak (dark brown) looks really nice....not cheap looking at all. Since our house has all tile it was also important to find a desk with levelers on the feet to ensure it would always be level. I also purchased the lateral file cabinet and it is as well made as this desk. My "SO"ended up purchasing this desk in the gray color for use in another room after he saw how sturdy the desk is. Highly recommend....well worth the money!

I haven't anything bad to say about this desk! Easy to put together, looks high-end. Sturdy and stable. High enough that 2 slim filing cabinets roll right underneath on each side. Leaves plenty of room for office chair. Purchased credenza as well. Not as easy to assemble but looks great and it too is sturdy!

I bought this desk because it fits well in the space I have, and it looks nice. It is solidly built and has an open underframe and back mesh-metal so air can circulate around it (for those who have mold issues). After several months, I found out how fragile the top veneer layer is--it is a very thin paper print that looks like wood. When I put something hard on it, the paper began to peel off. Fortunately, I was able to glue it back down, and I immediately purchased a clear PVC protective mat that fits the top exactly (also on Amazon), so now the issue appears to be resolved.

I spent a lot of time looking at desks and reviews, hoping to find something that wasn't too expensive, wasn't too difficult to assemble, and -- most of all -- was actually sturdy, and I'm so glad that I chose this desk. The top looked solid in the photos, and I'm happy to report that it actually IS. It's thick and really seems like it can handle a lot. The whole desk is really sturdy, in fact -- it doesn't wobble at all, unlike my old desk. Best of all, it was easy to assemble solo. Sure, having a second person would have made it even easier, but I was able to do it by myself in about 20 minutes or so. The instructions were absolutely clear, and the screws were packaged beautifully -- each length separated into its own little pouch, instead of just thrown together into a bag for you to try to sort out yourself. It included an entire extra set of screws and even a second allen wrench, just in case you lost or were missing some. I didn't have to use any of the extras because I wasn't missing any pieces, but it's nice to have them just in case I need them someday. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and haven't had any problems whatsoever. The little trapdoor for routing cables is ingenious, and made it easy for me to make things look clean by just feeding all my cables into it and then adding a couple of cable channels on the underside of the desk to route them further. Honestly, the only complaint I have is very minor: the design of the desk makes it impossible to use anything that clips onto the side or back of the desktop, such as a monitor arm or headphone rack. That's it, though: if you can live without those things, this desk is perfect.
