I have bought these many times from this listing and they are always great. They are very easy to carve and paint and are sized very consistently at exactly 6x2x2 and a great value for the asking price and shipped quick threw Amazon prime!! Gotta love Amazon prime and how well they take care of the customer! I love how nicely these carve and how easy they are to get a beautiful finish on. With good sharp wood working blades they cut so smooth and finish so nicely with hardly any sanding needed so long as the wood knife is nice and sharp.

I wanted a few blocks to learn on, and these were perfect. the wood was a little harder than i had hoped, and a little tougher to carve than some of the slightly more expensive lots i've also purchased on amazon. Great wood to start with, maybe with more experience i'll appreciate it more.

These are good wood, and cut straight.

These are solid wood blocks (not veneered MDF), which is great. All six arrived without any damage, and I haven't noticed any imperfections while carving them.

Perfect sized. Clean wood. A little too hard. Had a real workout when carving.
