The cap wasn’t tightened. You really don’t want gold glitter paint all over everything. The plastic used to seal it was very difficult to get off and serves little purpose since there’s no seal inside on the bottle top. Will update review after I am able to use it.

Emperor’s Gold - DecoArt Dazzling Metallics. This paint arrived in perfect condition. The consistency is nice, and it flows smoothly from the brush. Monitors rarely show colors accurately, so for anyone else who wants to know, Emperor’s Gold is a highly metallic pumpkin color. It’s orange based with a slight gold tint. It’s the color of an inexpensive faux gold necklace. There’s a need and use for that color, but it wasn’t what I wanted. Still, the paint deserves 5 stars. I just need to find the right shade of gold for my project.

My hobby is painting shells. This paint works really well. The metallic finish is beautiful. Have purchased several of this product in different colors.

Seems very thin. I wanted to touch up a couple of spots on a lamp that was chipped during a move and it’s so thin, after a couple of coats I gave up. I’ll try a different type of paint.

Used to turn some terra cotta pots gold for Christmas decorations.

Gorgeous colour of gold—really is a 'true' gold It shimmers nicely; isn't that gross gold colour you get from paint or permanent markers! Ive added a photo of what it looks like smeared on white printer paper. Plus, I used this to paint on initials on stockings, even though its acrylic, not fabric paint (not bothered to get fabric medium).

I used it to paint a drizzle effect on a number of new terracotta flower pots. Just a little bit coated excellently and the colour is a bright, cheerful new gold--not too metallic. High quality acrylic paint for DIY or art projects for a good price.
