There is no doubt St. Ligouris was filled with the Holy Spirit when he wrote this book.

I have an iPhone 7 and the book and the formatting is perfect. I have had no problems. This is a book that every Catholic especially priests should read. He is the doctor of moral theology

This is an awesome book. St. Alphonsus is the man. The people who translate these books from the Latin are a Godsend. Be sure to get the entire series.

For the first time this highly influential text is available in English. It is casuistry at its very height; St. Alphonsus lays out the idea of equipment-probabilism which tries to moderate between rigorism and laxism. The translation is very well done, the binding solid, layout and paper superb.This text influenced Catholic moral theology until the 1960s, and is a must for every library and every Catholic interested in intellectual history and the history of doctrine.

This is the a huge gift to the Church today. Finally translated from the latin (why it took so long befuddles me), the Theologia Moralis is now accessible in english and is a great treasure for every home that is serious about living the Catholic moral life

My latin is terrible, and Alphonsus's Theologia Moralis is one of the great moral handbooks of all time. Really excellent to have it available! Looking forward to the remaining volumes!
