Will hold a GRIP LOAD of stuff (CrossFit-friendly!)
I researched for HOURS (days really haha) to find a bag that was large enough, with multiple compartments, durable, and practical. I had a standard Puma duffle bag (think I got it from Target) that just was not big enough to hold all my equipment for CrossFit. Many of the bags specifically designed for CrossFit are SOOO expensive and massively big. I liked that this one was aesthetically pleasing, and more reasonably priced. It holds a ton of belongings. In it right now, I currently have:- Two pairs of shoes (1 pair of InoV8s, size 10, and 1 pair of big ol' running shoes size 11) in the bottom shoe/wet clothes compartment- Jump rope, tape, wrist wraps in right side pocket- Deodorant, baby wipes, and face wipes in left side pocket- Heart rate monitor, transmitter, and watch in front compartment (I always put my wedding rings in the "hidden" zippered inside pocket of the front compartment when I need to remove them), as well as a pack of hair ties- In the main compartment there are probably about 3 different types of workout tops, a hooded sweatshirt, two types of workout pants, a sportsbra, sports underwear, and socks-There's an extra compartment/pocket on the back side of the main compartment that I store my different workout gloves, hair/sweat bands, and a portable pouch for women products (pads & tampons lol). But I believe it is intended for a laptop. Whatevs! The straps are comfortable and the front carabiners are useful for hooking my keys on to. The only non-useful thing on this backpack is the "phone" pocket on one of the straps...yeah maybe like 7 years ago it would have held a phone, but not these days lol. It's fine though-plenty of other places to put my phone when I don't need it. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent value, large enough for my Tri transition gear
I looked around for a while, and struggled to find a tri backpack that wasn't over $100 and looked solid. I didn't have the benefit of shopping in person, so I took a chance on this bag from Tyr. I am not disappointed. I've taken it to 2 tri events, and there is plenty of room in the bag for gear. I don't even fill if half way, which means I can easily find what I'm looking for in the open main compartment. The handle on the top of the straps is very helpful for pulling it up to access its contents. It has a pair of zippered side pockets--I stow my food and water there for quick access. I put my helmet on one of the carabiners, to allow easy access as I am typically riding my bike for a while after parking the car. Some of these "handles" are too small for a grown man's hands, but this one is easy to get a hold of. Small pocket for breakables, where I stow my shades and goggles/anti-fog cream. Shoe pocket is a shoe pocket, ventilated to the outside with enough room for 1 pair of shoes. In the main pocket, I carry: 2 small towels, extra pair of socks, cold weather shell, extra swim cap, bike multi-tool, flip flops, and spare shorts. I have also carried my wetsuit in the bag, which pretty much fills it up.Durability appears good, although the zippers are what I'd call mid-grade, not the light ones found on $20 back packs but not the uber heavy ones found on Ogio bags, either. I am reasonable confident this bag will last me a good while.Oh, and the red really stands out and makes it easier to ID my bike in transition.

Over a year and still going strong
I purchased my my backpack a little over a year ago and it is still going strong. I was looking for something that could handle gym and swim. It's doing well for both. I have a couple "double dip days" where I do a swim and gym workout in the same day. If I really pack it tight it accommodates what I need for both workouts. Most days I don't cram it full and just take a second bag for the second workout. The bag is quite durable. After a year of almost daily workouts, it was getting kind of grungy and it was time for a good laundering. We turned inside out, put it in our front loading washer and it came out looking brand new.The only minor complaint I have is the inside pocket of the main compartment is a single pocket. I use it to carry shampoo, body wash, deodorant and miscellaneous sundries. I wish the pocket had some dividers. The tall bottles tend to go sideways.I'm shopping for a smaller bag for my "double dip" workout days. It's probably going to be a smaller TYR. I'm sold on these bags.

WOW !!!!!
LOVE this bag. Until this purchase I was using just an ordinary duffle when doing my triathlons. Let me tell ya, it was a pretty funny site trying to ride my bike to the transition area with a one strap duffle.I love to amount of space this bag provides. There are separate zipped compartments for all my stuff that are designed well. The main storage area is huge. Love also that it has a wet compartment that I can put my tri suit in after. The bag fits comfortably like a backpack which make riding your bike from the car to the transition area a whole lot easier. I think the one thing that separates this from just going out and buying a back pack is that the main compartment is squared out which really helps in storing your stuff. I can literally put my bike shoes flat on the bottom of the bag.Last but not least, I was very surprised at how light the bag is. While the picture makes it look big and bulky...... Nope !!!! I am an avid bike rider and love that this bag can be used for multiple things. Can you tell I like this bag. :)
