My daughter is always looking for a mouth guard to show off at matches and training. These are great and they have the device to make sure it fits correctly. However we did have to fit it 3 times.

Easy to fit, easy to follow instructions. Fits nicely. Only issue I had is I brought it to help me stop grinding my teeth while sleeping, it is a bit too bulky to sleep in

As a rugby player, I can honestly say the OPRO Instant Custom-Fit Mouthguard is top quality. You do have to mould it yourself, but the instructions are really easy to follow, and the process only takes a few minutes. Once fitted, it feels incredibly secure and comfortable, no slipping or rubbing even during tough tackles. Highly recommended for any rugby player looking for comfort, safety, and performance!

Easy to mould, barely has a presence in your mouth. As good as you'll find without ending in a mould for a custom.

I bought (wasted money on) 3 different gum shields before I decided to spend the extra money for this one. definitely worth it, if you're on the fence between this and the cheaper ones either from orpo or other brands, get this and use the cage. Fitting is uncomfortable as its quite large with the cage but worth it. make sure you line up the gumshield in the cage the extra few seconds wont matter, then line up the cage with your frenulum to make sure it lines up properly. Depending on teeth you might want to add a little extra pressure to any areas where your bite is weaker with your fingers. Keep the cage after to save money on future gum shields, I have a bronze level orpo gumshield aswell, and whilst the instant fit one is definitely better quality the biggest difference is in the moulding process so i think the cage is what really makes it worth it.

My son recently had his braces altered, which meant the gumshield he wore for rugby needed to be replaced. We chose this as an upgrade on his previous Opro gumshield. We followed the moulding instructions exactly, but when my son tried to remove the gumshield, it wouldn't come away from his braces. We tried more hot water to soften the gumshield enough to remove it, but it didn't work. Eventually the gumshield did start to move but the plastic had formed over the wire of his fixed braces, which was ripped it out when the gumshield did come out. This has now left us facing another large orthodontist bill to get a set of replacement braces, and I have a useless gumshield. Absolutely not recommended.

This was the worst mouth guard I have ever come across. Unfortunately it will have to be binned and I will need to get a different brand. Would not recommend
