I’ve been using this machine for many years now but I misplaced my old one so I bought this one. I know there is 2 kinda of ck100-one with a blue screen and one with a gray screen. The gray screen is what is pictured in the sellers ad. Which is what I wanted. But I received the blue screen and if I would have know that I wouldn’t have bought it. The blue screen ck100 has never worked for me. When I received this one I tried connecting it to multiple vehicles and it would only say ECU not found. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved Money on Additional Keys! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2017* Although the menu is somewhat self-explanatory, the omission of instructions can make operation complicated (this is the reason for 4/5 stars). I purchased the unit to program additional key FOBIKs for a 2012 Dodge Ram. My Ram only came with one (1) FOBIK, and the dealership wanted $70 / key (plus taxes and programming). While you can purchase new keys on Amazon for approximately $10, the dealership or an auto locksmith will charge $100+ for programming. I was quoted $150 to program two (2) keys, which is the same price (or more) as the CK-100. In the end, I decided to go with three (3) new keys from Amazon at $10.36 each, and the CK-100 for $135, putting me at around $165 total.The interface can be somewhat confusing, so the procedure I used is below:(1) Attach the CK-100 to the vehicle, using the OBD connector.(2) Follow the prompt, pressing “F1” to continue to the main menu.(3) When prompted, press “ESC” to skip the battery level check.(4) In order to program new FOBIKs, you need the vehicle’s PIN Code. Scroll down to option “3) PIN CODE SERVICE”(5) Select your vehicle type to retrieve the PIN Code. You’ll need to write this down or remember it for use in subsequent steps.(5a) The submenu has multiple system/ECM types. If the first one does not work, try subsequent option until the PIN is revealed.(5b) Note—Dodge does not appear in the option menu, so you have to use the Chrysler (FOBIK).(6) After retrieving the PIN Code, proceed back to the “Main Menu.” (Using the “ESC” key takes you back to the previous screen.)(7) Select option “1) IMMOBILIZER”(8) Select your vehicle make.(9) Select your vehicle model, and appropriate year. Note—the only available option for my year vehicle was the “[CAN]” edition; but, selecting this still resulted in successful programming.(10) At this point, the menu for each vehicle is slightly different; however, you should see options to view how many keys are in the vehicle’s memory, add keys, remove keys, etc.(11) If you want to clear out old keys from the system, you can easily do so. If not, choose to add a key, and follow the on-screen instructions. During the process, it will ask you to input the PIN Code you obtained earlier in the process.(11a) Note—The unit should ask you how may keys you want to program. Every time I selected one (1) key, programming failed. When I chose two (2) or more keys, programming of the first key was successful, but I received an “ECU not found,” error when inserting the second key.
