We rent and AC for house is not capable to cool the whole house. Baby's room is kept between 68 and 72. Needed something to perform this task. This Portable AC is used for that purpose and it does it extremely well. We also use for camping during Summer months. Hey I'm 68 and love to camp, but like to sleep comfortably.

This air conditioner is pretty good for the price. We have a 900 sq ft apartment (1 bedroom) and we use it in our bedroom. It is possible to feel the cooling effects in our main room but not too much. I did a lot of research and this one seemed to be the best bang for the buck. It is not too noisy (I like the sound of it at night). It was extremely easy to install, we have horizontal windows so it took maybe 2 minutes at most. One thing I will say is that we do not have any outlets near the windows and the power cord is kind of short so I had to purchase an appliance extension cord (no issues). My electricity bill went up about $20 a month and we run it pretty frequently. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the hose is very thick and does not bend easily. I know it is not meant to be bent but it is pretty stiff compared to our other one. This one also is self-evaporating because we are in a non-humid climate (Los Angeles) so I never need to dump the water.

Brought two AC's last summer one consistantly froze on us and the other needed to be drained consistantly. We contacted Customer Service and let them know the issue. One was replaced and the other they helped trouble shoot which only allowed it to work temporary. AC was well maintained, but this year these AC's are both acting up again, but this time not blowing cool air. I've cleaned filter and coils at lease three times since the beginning of summer. At first it blows cool air for a few minutes then goes back to blowing warm air.I tried to message company to ask for help in trouble shooting AC and Joy Pebble responded that the AC's we brought last June were out of warranty.I do not recommend this company. I should have not listen to the good reviews and give this company a try, because they don't even want to help us with the AC problem we are having with their 1 year old AC units. I believe this company might be a scam or make cheep AC units that don't last long and are ineffective in the long run for cooling.This is the worst purchase I have ever brought on Amazon. I should have returned them within the 30 days for a full refund. I 100% regret this purchase. Wast of money and time. Now I have to go look for new AC.Joy Pebble AC is Not a reliable company.

Originally we bought this to help cool down the living room which is 15'x20'. It handled that with ease. It also cools our two bedrooms and hallway. More than enough power and impressively cold. Thrilled with the purchase. Not too noisy, wonderful dehydration function also. The only negative thing about this unit is draining the water tank. We have to use a cookie sheet, as it is the only thing low enough to fit under the drain plug.

Unit shipped without an air exhaust outlet. First call to warrantee manufacture number was answered, but very difficult to hear due to background noise of children on their end. Second through fifth call went to voice mail. On the fifth call I decided to text problem per instructions. After 3 days no response. Sent about 4 more texts. No response. Called Amazon for assistance. Passed to 2 different associates. Last call instructed me to call another associate which was an automated voice box telling me to return the item. Item finally returned for a refund. I don't think you will get any satisfaction if there is a warrantee problem.UPDATE: After posting this review Joy Pebble reached out with an apology concerning their customer service stating they were taking actions with their staff to insure timely response.

First time running it. Ran for 10 minutes, then blew fuse. Keeps blowing fuse, don’t know why. It will run with the fan but once it’s out on Cool it blows the fuse. Help needed.Company contacted me to make sure I was happy. They sent out another AC unit that worked, and gave me no issues. Great customer service. Easy communication.
