I've tried a number of different high-quality kibbles on my two long-haired cats. One tends to get mats--to the extent that I've had to take him to a groomer for a full-body shave. He hasn't had a mat since he started eating this about six months ago. I'm moderately allergic to cats, but I discovered that giving them decent food means I can have cats (I can usually tell whether people are giving a high-quality food to their cats from how strongly my allergies kick up around them; often I can't tolerate other people's cats at all). My cats seem to find this stuff tasty, and their coats look and feel terrific.

Our cat and dog both love wellness core, the stuff works wonders for solving strange health issues. While it is expensive, it's well worth the money. The size if the food is perfect for our 5yr old cat. It's definitely a crunchy food, which I feel like it may contribute to her perfect teeth, but ill leave that one up to the vet to decide. The smell isn't bad either. Great food all around

my kitty always loved meow mix then one day he just stopped eating it, would cry cuz he was hungry but no matter what he would not touch his food suddenly. i took him to the vet because it seemed to be more than just being stubborn or picky. come to find out he had a sugar level of 300. meow mix is a high carb dry food. as it stands right now my kitty is on the verge of diabetes if we cant get it under control. although high protein low carb soft food is best its not affordable (his healthy weight is 18 pounds, so he needs a lot of food just to sustain) so i have to split the diff. with dry food and so far he's done the best on Core. there is pea protein in it so its not exactly grain free, but definitly beat the pants off of Iams, or blue wild

After dozens of hours of research trying to find the best cat food we could afford for our furbabies, and that would be tolerated by our very picky eater, we got a small bag of this at a local store. Our cats all came running and chowed down, so we decided to switch from the blue buffalo limited ingredient stuff to this. Unfortunately, our picky eater then began to reject it - seemingly on principle alone, I genuinely think he was just protesting the removal of the second food option - so we had to go back to the blue buffalo. We started trying this right as the covid19 pandemic began in our area, and so we haven't wanted to risk trying to switch their food again. Once things have settled back down again, we will begin trying to switch the cats over to this food, and mister picky eater will just have to adjust.
