Rewind Doll, '80s Edition Schoolin' Around Outfit with Varsity Jacket, Acid-Washed Skirt and Rad Accessories

The Barbie Rewind series has become one of my favorite of the most recent Barbie lines, I was really amazed with the first wave of dolls from this line, and I'm really happy to discover the second wave picks up exactly where the first wave left off, carrying the theme even further, the packaging and big illustration in the sleeve is really eye catching and a brilliant idea, then the doll reveal inside is nothing short of what the lovely illustration is promising, the design and aesthetics of the dolls have a great balance between being nostalgic and feeling very current at the same time, so both a young or more seasoned demographic can enjoy this gift, the quality is the best of what Mattel has offered in the play-line the last few years, the fashion pieces feel quite high quality in comparison to 95% of what you'll find on the toy shelves, and the overall design is very well thought out and pleasing to the eye. I wish all Barbie Mattel products were this good in both design and quality!

Great doll, with articulated elbows and arms and bendable knees. Her outfit is very good quality, all pieces are removable. She comes with some school accessories (80s edition and backpack). She is also looking great in Barbie deluxe dress.

It's so hard to find a red haired Barbie. This one has green eyes, too, and freckles! I wish there really was a Barbie like this one in the 80's when I was a kid because I would've loved to have a Barbie that looked like me like this one does. The doll is super cute. She comes in a display box that reminds me of a VHS sleeve. She seems well made, but I'm not taking her out of the box, so I can't really comment on durability or anything. My doll arrived with no damage in a cardboard shipping box. Dolls shipped in bags that get damaged are the fault of the distribution workers, not the seller.

The doll is amazing. I'm a modest collector of Barbie dolls and I absolutely needed to have this in my collection. It's perfectly processed in detail, it has a beautiful jacket and sleeves. It comes with a lot of accessories, including a practical backpack and a portable retro computer. An original retro comb and a practical stand will also make you happy. The box itself is absolutely gorgeous and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Nice doll, very cute features and red hair. Her legs can be bent at the knee (clickable), and are somewhat soft as opposed to other Barbie dolls which have hard plastic legs. Some shoes don't fit well on her feet though. It seems to kind of hit or miss as far as which shoes will work.
