Excellent product
I was very happy with these. They are sturdy and fit very well in the garage. I bought this and the 3x6.Both were solid and has helped clean up the garage tremendously. It takes a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it and the right tools, it's pretty easy to assemble and install (i'm not a handy man). The 3x6 shelf can be raised on your own but you should ask or help for the 4x8, the shelf is quite heavy.

Useful storage
The storage rack provides good amount of storage in a garage with limited area but high ceiling. The rack is well made and the parts are of good quality, but it doesn't look sturdy. I will not load it to maximum capacity of 600lb.The unit lack lateral bracing which makes it wobbly when adding or removing items from storage. This also makes it vulnerable if your are in an area prone to earthquakes. For installation I couldn't trust the stud finder to locate the studs as the insulation in the ceiling causes the stud finder get confused. The main anchors that are connected to the ceiling joists are large and they must be installed exactly on the centerline of the joists otherwise their load capacity could be compromised. I had to locate the exact location of joists by poking holes in the ceiling drywall with a small nail.I plan to add some bracing to the overall installation to make it less wobbly and hope that the manufacturer adds these bracing as standard items.

Not too hard to install as long as you find the studs
My garage was "finished" so I had to use a stud finder in order to located the wall studs as well as the ceiling joists...once they were located, it was a breeze to drill pilot holes. Plenty of videos in youtube with ideas and tips. Once I installed the first one, I like it so much that I ordered a second one. Now I have plenty of storage for the foreseeable future and stuff does not need be on the garage floor if I can help it. Notice how I used the "ceiling brackets" on the actual wall as support (screws into wall studs)...it was a lot easier that way. Just like in many of the videos, I actually "hung" from this spacer in several places and did not budge. Here is a tip...find yourself some washers to put with the large screws that go into the studs/joists...I did this by myself (no help)

Measuring instructions for placing down brackets are confusing.
This is quite simple to install from your ceiling. My wife and I installed this using two ladders. We installed one 48”X 48” section at a time after placing the hanging brackets from the ceiling. This unit is “Sturdy” and can be adjusted to any height from 20” down to 40” from the ceiling. All “Hardware” is included. Love the “Design” for “Organizing our garage. The “White color matches the white interior of our garage.

Assembly is easy as long as you do this...
This 4 x 8 suspended platform was exactly what I needed to keep lumber out of my way. The unit is very sturdy and rigid. The only location I had available was directly above my garage door which posed a slight challenge once I realized the top of the door reached its highest point just before going horizontal. For this reason I chose to only use 3 of the 4 panels making this a 4 x 6 unit. I definitely recommend to not tighten any of the bolts until everything is assembled. By doing it this way I didn't have any trouble lining up any of the bolt holes. The hooks provided at the bottom of the 4 corner supports made hanging the assembled bottom shelf easy to do by myself. Everything fit together perfectly and it was time to get the straight edge out and start tightening all of the bolts. The most time consuming part was laying out the ceiling supports only because my stud finder doesn't like popcorn ceilings. I did manage to give an additional 1 inch of head room for my garage door by not using vertical extension pieces. The only Con that I found is that the metal the bolts are made from seems a bit soft causing the bit in my impact driver to get stuck often.
