Easy to set up
Easy to set up and connect, no need to buy a SIM card like other devices.

Best Investment for International Travel
I used the hotspot during travel to Ghana and Egypt. It was easy to purchase e-Sim cards and much cheaper than the per day plans offered by my mobile phone carrier. I did pay my phone off early so that I could make sure that my phone was unlock by the carrier, and everything was easy to navigate.

Data Scam
It’s like a scam. I had DuoTurbo from this company, but the connection was lost and useless for 80-90% of the time in Nepal. I purchased this model to use in Japan and Korea, the connection was great. But a complete data scam. I only use instagram and gmail on my phone, no Netflix or Youtube. But the device said I used 27 GB in less than three weeks. I used the device for internet to send emails for an hour at Starbucks and it told me I used 4-5GB within an hour. I reached out to customer care, they’re prompt in responding but did not have any solution for this. I would honestly purchase a wifi at the airport the moment I arrive in a foreign country. They provide a so much more stable, better wifi connection at a much more affordable, reasonable price. This? This is NOT. Unreliable, unstable, and drinks your money like a thirsty hippo. Supposed to make travel less stressful but it added stress.

It's effective
I bought this for work. I have to use electronic charting but was unable to get any type of signal! I have to put the hot spot in a window at times to get a signal but, I am usually able to get a signal and chart. Update: the battery charge is getting shorter and shorter.

Seems to work good
To me, the unit seems a little bit harder to set up than it should be. But once you get it working it works very good. It does seem to like to chew through the data. Replacement data is not cheap. They get you for every penny they can. Fortunately I only use mine when camping.

Just what I needed!
I had 4 trips abroad coming up, so decided to get this hotspot rather than continue to pay $10 / day to use my regular phone data plan. I just took it on a weeklong trip to Europe, and it worked perfectly! I got the 5G plan, and I actually didn’t even use it all (I used wifi in my hotels to conserve my GlocalMe data). I’m so glad I have this for my other upcoming trips, and would highly recommend to anyone who travels abroad (or somewhere they need wifi) regularly!

Great for when you don’t have a Wi-Fi network nearby I’m a person who likes to watch streaming services and haveing no Wi-Fi is like a death sentence for me

Frequently bad 3G/4G connectivity
It was working fine in Europe. But in Mexico I often had worse connectivity with the 3G or 4G network than with my mobile phone. Therefore it was often not working. It sometimes takes a long time to connect. It is not very clear how strong the G3 or G4 network is (hidden somewhere in the App). The WiFi signal is relatively strong. Battery lifetime is good. The data packages are expensive compared to local SIM cards. But convenient to buy via the app.

So, this hotspot comes with an installed "GlocalMe" esim, with a bit of prepaid data to get it running out of the box. I bought mine to use with a physical SIM card on a local mobile provider, and it worked perfectly. The web-based management user interface is fine, and fairly intuitive. I didn't install the app, though I suspect it will make it easier for owners to configure the hotspot and subscribe to Glocalme services. The hotspot lasts quite a few hours continuous (longer than 12 hours for me.) It had no issues connecting to my mobile network and provided reasonable (though not extraordinary) 4G upload and download speeds.

This thing sucks. Not at all worth the purchase price. Its slow and connections time out frequently. The data plans are outrageously expensive and the device consumes data with a voracious appetite. If you're a c suite executive with an expense account, you *may find the performance acceptable. But if you"re paying over $1.70 USD per GB of slow and spotty data you're going to be alittle annoyed. The best feature is that your purchased data package expires! That's right, you pay through the nose for a data package that expires 30 days following activation with no roll over. You can't "ration" your data because you don't know how much data you might be consuming exploring a town with Google Maps, forcing you to purchase another outrageously overpriced data plan, again. I've spent hours in cafes trying to get the damn thing to connect to local 4G networks using locally purchased SIM cards but the user app is so bloated with ads I honestly can't figure out what the hell the instructions are trying to communicate to me. You're guessing as to which network you're connected to, if you're connected at all. The printed instructions and the app were written by a non native English speaker and serve to frustrate the user. The smarter move here is to purchase a second hand cell phone and get a local data plan with a local SIM card. The user interface on a laptop is slow and freezes frequently. This has been one of the worst purchases of my life as the device is unreliable, has horrendous user interface options, frustrating written user instructions, and an app so bloated with ads you can't figure out what the hell you've done with the device much less what you're trying to accomplish with the confusing and convoluted app. I'm going to toss the device into the trash right now. Attempting to rely on piece of garbage is simply too frustrating.

Used it in interior BC middle of nowhere, still had great reception. Battery also held up, I ran it from morning to afternoon then manually turned it off - still had juice. I used the in-app plans, but I saw other comments suggesting your own SIM can be used. Haven't tested that portion yet.

It is Expensive As a Mauf'k. For the data Plans That can be provided by The Glocalme Itself. Hardcore expensive prices Im using the data It Gave as a gift for activating the account 10 Gigs local Data That's all then I'll try a Sim card when I figure out a Provider that won't be mega expensive either. Used for security cameras wifi cameras . Tends to say Unstable connection with its own data And it's not super fast but it's 2.4 GHz which is what the camera Requires to operate and Remote view

I use this device every where i travel. Some esim rates are too expensive, but then i just use a physical sim with cheaper rates.
