Quality head torch
A quality head torch, i bought this for paddleboarding through tunnels, just the job as it's very bright and even comes with batteries.

A good, comfortable hybrid headtorch, suitable for camping, night hikes and dog-walking.
The Petzl Tikka is a lightweight, comfortable, headtorch, that is supplied with 3xAAA batteries, to produce 350 lumens of light, but, as a hybrid lamp, can also operate with a Petzl Core Battery (micro usb rechargeable, rather than the newer and better, USB C charger). It has yellow colouring and lens phosphorescence, to be seen, but would benefit from yellow, dayglo coating, that shows in the dark. The Petzl Tikka Core Headtorch is supplied with a core battery and produces up to 450 lumens. I was hoping it would have the option of a much-quicker-charging, more powerful, and longer lasting, USB C chargeable, upgraded battery, replacing the Petzl Core, as an optional battery, hence 4 out of 5. It is good for night hikes, camping and dog-walking, at night.

This is my second head torch and is very effective. The battery life is good and can be used on long runs / walks

A must for any bag
3 choices of light brightness, with white and red light available. Fluorescent so can find in the dark. Small enough for any bag.

RECENT PURCHASE.
Apart from testing it in the house, I haven't used it outside. However, it seems to be a comfortable fit, with adjustable direction and a good light beam.
