Works great. Great price.
The remote on my expensive but older TV died. Replacement for the original was $60! This one does everything I need it to do for an excellent price. Worked right out of the box; no setup or pairing needed.

which is easy to do since the remote is so symmetrical
The buttons don't work so well when you hold the remote backwards in your hand, which is easy to do since the remote is so symmetrical. You'll see what I mean when you try to use it on a daily basis. Also, the buttons are too squishy, and sometimes unresponsive. You really have to aim the remote at the sensor on the TV, otherwise it won't respond. I like the newer remotes that Samsung makes, the ones that are smaller and sleeker and easier to use. Unfortunately, those won't work on my older TV, so I had to get this one.

A perfect replacement for the remote my kids lost
A perfect replacement for the remote my kids lost! It doesn’t feel quite as well made as the original but it gets the job done without any problems. I loved that there was no set up involved. I just pointed it at the tv and it worked. So easy!

Works very well with the TV it was designed for - and is a good quality!
The remote works just fine. It's almost as confusing and the one that came with the tv... so it's just me. We aren't the only ones who hated the remote that came with our tv - many people who bought this replacement did it for the same reason we did. It's nice, sturdy, works well and is more user-friendly but does not work any better with our cable box. oh well!

Cheap but good!
This remote was bought to replace the OEM full-featured remote that came with my 11-year-old high-end Samsung TV. The OEM remote was starting to fail, and I never used all of the features of the old unit anyway. I only needed to access and navigate the tools and screen menus on the TV, which it does well. If this lasts a few years, it will be money well spent.
