Hidrate Spark PRO Smart Water Bottle – Insulated Stainless Steel – Tracks Water Intake with Bluetooth, LED Glow Reminder When You Need to Drink – Straw Lid, 32 oz, Deep Blue

TLDR: I’m a major supporter of this company and this bottle truly is the best smart bottle out there. I bought the 32oz blue, straw cap bottle because I loved my 21oz blue, straw cap bottle so much. The blue color is the best in my opinion. I use both with the free app, and it’s great! Data syncs seamlessly with FitBit and Apple Health. History: I’m a long time customer and a firm believer in their product. This company has come A LONG LONG way from the original bottle, where all they could make was a thin casing and a white tube down the middle that could shine only one color. Also it was recommended to only use water. Today, HidrateSpark removed the invasive tube and moved the sensor to the puck at the bottom of the bottle. The casing is metallic, easier to clean, and built to last. The bottle and app now can accommodate for more than just water! Unboxing: I’ve always purchased their blue colors and that never disappoints me. Everything was included inside but for some reason the cord was inside the bottle instead of the box. So WARNING: do not fill bottle with liquid prior to emptying the contents during your unboxing process. Use Case: I bought the 32oz even though I already own a 21oz. Having two options makes it easier for me to pick a bottle that suits my particular needs. The 32oz does not fit in a car cup holder but the 21oz does. Both options come with a small loop attached to the cap but it’s not convenient for carrying the bottle. I would highly recommend purchasing a paracord handle. The 32oz version would fit a paracord handle designed for the HydroFlask 2.0 wide mouth size. My assumption is this size would also work for the 21oz, but I will need to check and update this review. I have always picked the straw version of this bottle so I can’t compare it to the spout version for you, but I’ve only had a leaking problem once with my 21oz but probably due to years of use. This new 32oz I got does not have that problem, so I’m currently replacing the cap on my original 21oz. Both bottle casings have never leaked once, no matter how many times I have dropped them, banged them on something, etc. The design on these bottles makes them extremely durable. App: The application is easy to use and free. If you want all the extra stuff like tracking coffee tea or juice, change the color of the app, or make a custom glowing color, then you would need to pay for those. Those extras aren’t important to me since I only need the basics. Tracking my water intake and selecting a glow color out of 7 options is good enough for me. There are social events as well where you can join a team and compete with other users. You can also compete with friends by racing to your daily goal and yourself by earning challenge badges. It’s nothing major and super thrilling but it helps with the motivation. I’ve been with Fitbit (now a Google product) for 10 years before I moved on to Apple Health (just snagged a series 10 watch!) and in both cases, the data syncs seamlessly to the other apps. No loss of data and no complaints.

My whole family has these bottles and cups. We love being able to add each other to see how much water we have consumed. The bottle is my favorite for every day use. I do have a cup that I only use for adult beverages which is nice because sometimes I loose track on how many drinks and I can go into the app and see lol the reason for the 3 stars on this one. Because we have every color of bottle. But the blue came with big scratches on the side to where you can actually see the metal. Over all they do not leak, the battery lasts a long time in all of them. I cannot use out ice in it and by morning the ice is still solid and ice cold water. Love the look of the cups and bottles. Just disappointed that it was packaged with these scratches all the way through the color. I’ve had my other bottle for almost a year and I’m not sure what is up with the puck, but I cannot get it to charge. I have several different chargers and I think the puck just finally gave out. I even have their very first bottle that came out. It’s white. It does sweat a lot so they’ve came a long way! We love their products and functionality

I saw a coworker with this, and I thought that this was a cool idea. So I went ahead and bought one. You know...I share some of the blame at for buying this...product. Had I done my due diligence, I would have saved myself a fair amount frustration because all of the worst reviews spelled out all the faults and difficulties that other customers have endured with this water bottle. Not to mention the "frequently returned item" banner... The issues: I attempted to connect the sensor to my phone numerous times without success. What was even more maddening was that I succeeded on one try...only to go to the home screen that told me that I needed to recalibrate the sensor. And there is no mention of any subscriptions in the item description either. Maybe $15 per year is minuscule, but I am weary of corporations that nickel and dime customers at every given opportunity.

This water bottle is incredible it track my water and I have drank so much more with it. I love how it lights up and give me notifications to drink water. It’s always reminding me and super stylish. I think the handle can be better and the water intake sometimes is not accurate but it’s still a great purchase!

Works great, but dropped the bottle and the lid cracked. Impossible to get a new lid without having to buy the whole new bottle.

It is a awesome bottle, very helpful. It is helping me to remember to drink water even when I’m fully concentrated. The built material is amazing and the battery last for 2 to 2,5 weeks per charge.

Very good product, works well. For medical reasons I was told to drink more water by my consultant. This water bottle did the trick and I’m drinking water regularly through smart reminders.
