I used one of these dressing pads to cover a deep, long scratch that was bleeding quite a bit. The pad absorbed all the blood. Unfortunately, by time I was ready to remove the dressing, I found it was stuck to my wound, and pulling it off made me start bleeding all over again. These are NOT non-stick!

Size: 4.25x4.25Sure, most of us have a box of bandage strips around, but those bandages aren't large or good enough for certain types of wounds. That's why I want these in my first aid kit in case something worse happens. Even if it's something a little extra to hold me over until I can make it to the hospital.Do be aware that these are only the pads and that you will still need something for them to adhere to your wound. You'll need some sort of bandage tape or equivalent.These are a good size for larger wounds. Can be cut down for smaller ones. That's why I prefer these larger ones because they give me more options.Now I'm a little more prepared in the event of a major wound that exudes a lot of substance.
