**Q: My controller does not stop at the programmed temperature and continues to climb indefinitely? Ssr is not stuck closed.**
A: Dear customer, if your SSR is good, most likely there is something wrong with your ramp soak programs. Please contact Auber customer support directly for troubleshooting. You can google Auber Instruments and you can find their contact info there.

**Q: will i be able to set a target temperature and ramp rate or will i need to write a code for it? is this pre-programmed?**
A: For this controller, you can set a step start temperature, step end temperature, and duration time for that step. By these three parameters, you can control the ramp up/down speed. You cannot set ramp rate directly on this controller. 

You don't need to write a code, but you need to input a temperature & time profile. It is not pre-programmed.

**Q: Can it perform the following:  heat to 1460 °f and cool rapidly to 1380 °f, then cool to 1250°f at rate not exceeding 10°f per/hr**
A: Yes. You can control the heat up speed and cool down speed. You cannot directly set the ramp up/down speed though, but you can set the step start temperature, step end temperature and also the duration time between these two, which represent the ramp up/down speed. Please refer to its manual for more details.

**Q: Does it store more than one program, or does it need to be reprogrammed whenever I need to change "recipes"?**
A: It depends on how many steps your program requires.  As I recall, this unit can store 30 steps.  Since a "program" can be terminated in a step and the user can start at any step, multiple programs could effectively be stored.
