Excellent
I am not sure why so many negative reviews, but I am more than happy with Glaze. I tend to change my hair colour often, and I've tried different shades of Glaze, each time with good results. One thing to remember is that this is not a hair dye, therefore it needs to match closely your hair colour. Last one I've tried was blazing brown, on a medium blonde hair. It gives depth and gets rid of brassy and yellow tones. Hair is left with more depth and ashy colour which was my goal. Also, it leaves hair very soft and shiny. People also complain about getting the product out, I solved that problem by completely unscrewing the cap, that way with a bit of shake product comes out nicely. At one point when my hair was lighter, I also used vanilla lights and bronde, also very happy with the results. I always use gloves and don't find it especially messy. I think it's an excellent product as long as we remember to use it as a glaze and not to expect hair dye.

Not worth it
Not one of my best buys Package too small, rigid materials made it difficult to pour the conditioner out. Product didn’t make my hair any glossier than my usual conditioner I gave up using it after the second use

Salon Shine at Home – Hair Feels So Soft and Glossy!
Really impressed with the Glaze Supergloss Color Conditioning Gloss! It left my hair feeling incredibly soft, smooth, and full of shine — just like after a salon treatment. The color looks refreshed and vibrant, and my hair feels well-hydrated without being weighed down. It’s easy to use, smells lovely, and gives instant results. Perfect for keeping hair looking healthy and glossy between salon visits. A fantastic product that truly delivers what it promises — I’ll definitely be buying again!

Glaze - a shiny star in a stupidly designed bottle.
Glaze Hair Conditioner: A Shiny Star in a Sticky Situation ★★★☆☆ Oh, Glaze, you dazzling diva of hair conditioners, you’ve got me torn between love and loathing like a great written rom-com with a bad actors Let’s start with the good: this stuff is pure magic for your mane. One dollop of this caramel-thick elixir, and my hair emerges from the shower softer than a kitten’s whisper and shinier than a disco ball, it smooths and adds variety of tones to my over bleached strands, It’s like my strands went to a spa and came back with a glow-up that screams, “I’m fabulous, darling!” If your hair’s been begging for a miracle, Glaze delivers—sparkling, silky perfection that makes you want to toss your locks in slow motion like you’re in a shampoo ad. But here’s the sad bit and oh boy, it’s a messy one. The packaging is a crime against convenience, a bottle so ridiculously useless It’s like queuing for the loo at a festival only to find some bugger’s nicked all the bog roll—pure inconvenience and a right slap in the face to spending £15.99 on it. Ffs I’ve phoned and even told the company as have dozens on these reviews. Please listen…. This conditioner is thick—think caramel sauce that’s been left in the fridge too long. Squeezing it out? Forget it. You’ll need the grip strength of a bodybuilder and the patience of a saint, and the bottle hole is too small to stick your finger in and pull any out. Instead, you’re forced to shake the bottle like you’re mixing a cocktail in the worlds fastest cocktail competition, guaranteed you will run out of hot water before you’ve got it smeared on your head, which turns your shower into a Glaze-splattered crime scene. I have spent more time scrubbing sticky sparkles off my tiles than I did actually conditioning my hair. By the time I’m done cleaning, my arms are getting a better workout than my hair is getting pampered. And let’s talk about the aftermath. That glorious shine comes at the cost of a bathroom that looks like it hosted a caramel making glitter bomb explosion. The irony? Glaze makes your hair low-maintenance but turns your cleanup routine into a high-maintenance nightmare. It’s like dating someone who’s gorgeous but leaves dishes in the sink for days—worth it, but at what cost? The Thought-Provoking Bit: Glaze forces you to confront life’s big questions. Is beauty worth the chaos? Do we endure inconvenience for the sake of perfection? And why, oh why, hasn’t anyone invented a pump bottle for this stuff? Or just plop it in a tub!!! At least I could get my fingers in it. It’s a metaphor for life: sometimes the shiniest rewards come with the messiest struggles. If Glaze could just get a better bottle—maybe one that doesn’t require a wrestling match—we’d be talking five stars. Until then, I’ll keep shaking, splashing, and philosophizing in my caramel glazed, sticky shower. Verdict: Glaze, you’re the hair equivalent of a Michelin-star dessert served on a paper plate. Fix the packaging, and I’ll sing your praises from the rooftops. For now, I’ll just keep a mop handy.

Excellent…at first!
I am an aging natural brunette who decided to stop dyeing my hair and let my greys grow out. In the meantime, my ends were quite bleached out with dark roots, so I bought this to use on those blonder ends. It worked an absolute treat and I was delighted with the results! However, now having used it 2 or 3 times I notice that as it’s washing out it’s tinted those bleached ends ever so slightly GREEN! Not hugely noticeable to others apparently (perhaps they’re just kind?!) but both me and my hairdresser noticed it. I’m now frantically using blue shampoo to take the edge off the green. So I do partly recommend it, it definitely does what it says, but the aftermath can be interesting! Don’t over-use it I suppose

Leaves your hair looking really healthy and shiny
Brilliant product so easy to use leaves hair healthy and shiny. Stays in your hair after a lot of washes before you have to reuse it.

No glossiness
Pros: Gave a nice dark brunette colour, easy to use, lasted ok. Cons: Had to use a lot of product to get good coverage and I have a short bob style now. I didn't enjoy the smell, not bad but didn't have a good smell. Left my hair feeling like straw - I have really good condition normally, I have good shine and gloss most of the time and I love a deep conditioner so was excited for the "gloss" this claims to give bit it left my hair lifeless and dull and far worse than before using it - it dried my hair out. It was also oddly difficult to dispense, the bottle is a solidish plastic and the product thick so it took a fair bit of effort to dispense. I don't know if I had a bad batch or if others have this experience but I won't be buying again as there are several, cheaper products that would give the colour and conditioning results expected - my preferred recently is colourology which smelled divine, easy to dispense and slighttly cheaper - I just wish they had more shades.

I have now purchased this item multiple times. Leaves hair feeling conditioned and color updated. It removed the red brassy faded effect from heat styling between professional color treatments. It does not cover grey hair but this is clearly stated in the packaging.

I've been using it for two months and I think it's excellent; it protects my color and gives me a great shine.

After my recent salon treatment, I discovered a product that seemed perfect for my needs: a hair glaze that promised to enhance shine and gloss. I was pleased to find that this item delivered on its promises, giving my previously dull hair a noticeable boost in shine. The glaze did an excellent job of adding a glossy finish, even after a hair color treatment. It’s particularly effective at reviving the luster of color-treated hair, making it look vibrant and well-maintained. With long hair, I found that the glaze lasted through about 3-4 washes, which is a decent lifespan for such products. However, there are a couple of downsides to note. The price is on the higher side, which might be a consideration if you're budget-conscious. Additionally, while it enhances shine, it doesn’t cover gray hair, so if that's a concern, you'll need to use a separate product for that. Overall, if you're looking for a high-quality glaze to add shine and gloss to your hair, this product is a great choice, provided you're okay with the price and don’t need gray coverage.

As mentioned before the bottle is very stiff and so it's hard to get the product out specially with gloves (which are not included btw). I did see that my hair was a tone darker after I applied this but the effect didn't last very long so I wouldn't get this again.
