Yonex SHB 47 EX Indoor Court Sports Shoes

If this is the first pair of badminton shoes you decide to purchased, that could mean you eventually notice that you need a professional gear to go along with this highly-dynamic game that requires you to jump back and forth in all directions. For my personal experience, such time happened when you and who you played with became a lot better than new-players, then if you still used any other ordinary sports/gem shoes, my feet got hurt almost in every long time march. You can actually get heavily injured. Those shoes are not designed to deal with sudden acceleration in wired directions. However the basic SHB 47 is in every way good enough to deal with that, you will feel the difference when you wear it on the court.But do notice that it is not a good idea to use it for walking around, the feeling is strange: it is designed for jumping and nothing else.

The shoe fits really well around the ankles. Keeps your footing right. Haven't tried jump shots yet. I took half size (10.5 compared to 10) than regular to have that extra space for toes. On first day the part where you bend the show while stepping forward (around the first lace point), felt tight and was pushing into the feet, may be being too new. After a couple hours, it got adjusted to my feet and felt natural. Thank you for this great shoe.

nice shoes and come on time. good for use for badminton. recommend.i suggest you should wear it few hrs before actual playing badminton.

I love these shoes, but I caution you on they run small. I normally wear a 6.5, but have to order these a full size large. Love the looks and the feel. Strictly an indoor court shoe. I use them for indoor pickleball.

These shoes wear out very quickly. Also the support in the bottom of the shoe is lacking heavily.There is a lot of room in the toes, but sharp grooves in the side that caused me to feel uncomfortable during rallies. Overall, I would either go for a cheaper pair of shoes, or save up money for a top tier shoe from yonex. This middle price model is miles behind the best shoes yonex have released, and hardly worth the extra 40 or so dollars compared to a cheaper shoe.

These shoes were comfortable from the first day I wore them. They have tread up the sides to assist with all the lateral movement that badminton requires and I will not go back to non-Yonex shoes after these.

Be careful with the sizes. Mine was very tight. Also, I really dont think this is original Yonex. The material felt like plastic. I have bought Yonex badminton shoes for 20 years and this one looked/felt very inferior, including the finish/workmanship. I returned it immediately. It said “made in Indonesia”. The quality and finish were inferior to other Yonex badminton shoes I have purchased.

Very comfortable, I am able to play without knowing if I have a pair of shoes on(they are so lightweight).
